- 3 years later -
It's been about 2 and a half years since I last saw Shane and Chad and 3 years since I started school. I'm currently in the second grade. While I don't need to go to school because of the fact that I was 23 and a college student in my last life, and I could be homeschooled if I really pushed my parents on it. I still decided to go to school. there are a few reasons for this, one, my parents want me to go and "make friends". Two, it's nice to be out of the house, only training can be quite boring. finally, relearning this easy stuff is quite nice, you don't notice how much you forget over time so getting a reminder is nice. Also, I see why that "are you smarter than a 5th grader" show makes since now, I used to think they were cheating somehow but I guess not, people just really forget that much.
Now back to what I was doing before I got lost in thought. I am currently preparing my body to breakthrough to the second level of my Qi technique as well as open the second gate of my body cultivation technique. The Qi cultivation stage increase won't do anything for my fighting prowess at this point but it will help in training. Right now the additional gravity is only applying an extra 22kg(60 lbs) since I currently weigh 54 kgs(120 lbs) this is pretty light when you take into account how strong I have gotten over the last 4 years of training. So when I brake through to the second stage and am able to apply 81kgs(180 lbs) to myself it will increase the intensity of my training by a fold and force me to push myself even harder.
Now when it comes to opening the second gate, the gate of limits I'm excited to see the results. The technique says it will increase my balance and coordination, giving me the grace of a dancer. The problem is I don't know how that will directly affect my combat potential, but I'm ready to find out.
Sitting in the lotus pose I decided to focus on breaking through to the second stage of my Qi cultivation since I have done it before. and as expected it went off without a hitch, moving into the second stage I don't feel much different but when I turn up the gravity I can instantly feel a heavyweight press on every part of my body. Unlike weights which you will feel on your shoulders if you are squatting for example. The increase in gravity affects every part of my body making every action that much more strenuous than before. Honestly, I love this feeling because I can already tell that it will make me a lot stronger and by the time I'm finally accustomed to the weight I will brake through again repeating the process.
Now for the new part, breaking through to the gate of limits. According to the technique once I have refined over 12.5% of my body I should naturally open the gate. So since I'm already at 12.5% all I have to do is cultivate like normal and hope that crossing into a stage doesn't come with even more pain. god, I hope there is no more pain.
Still sitting in the lotus pose I start to refine my body and as I do I feel the normal mind destroying, mind-altering pain that I have come to expect with this technique. But in the back of this pain, I can feel a pressure building behind my ears. It feels like the pressure that builds when you drop or increase in altitude quickly and can't pop your ears, but like 100x worse. continuing to cultivate I try to deal with it the best I can in this situation, which is to ignore it. But that's not working because the pressure is building and is somehow overshadowing the mind-shattering pain making it feel like I'm going to pop like a balloon that is overfilled. But right when I think for sure my head is going to explode and that this whole experience is one big joke from god the pressure finally releases with audible *pop*.
now I have had the pressure build in ears when flying and not been able to pop it. So I know when you finally get that pressure to release the feeling is almost orgasmic. And now I know what the feeling is when it truly is orgasmic because let me tell you that sweet sweet release of pressure made me *** a little. there, I said it, and I'm not ashamed!
Now being unashamed the first thing I do is go change my pants then try to feel for any changes in my body.
Meditating on the changes in my body I instantly feel the sense of balance and coordination, it feels like before I was a toddler just learning to walk, or some kind of drunkard stumbling my way through life. Now I can feel how all of my muscles, tendons, and bones work together to make a near-perfect organic specimen.
Getting used to the feeling I decide to head down to the "pit of hell" as I have come to call the robot fighting room inside the Batcave. I want to see what my current limits are now that I have opened the second gate. heading down I turn the gravity increase off on myself so I can find out my limits without the handicap of having all that weight pressing down on me. Going to the computer I order the robot that I have been stuck at for the past year into the room. While my strength and endurance has continued to increase my hand to hand combat prowess has hit a kind of plateau. there is only so much fighting programmed robots can do, and even though they are extremely complicated and ever-changing because of the updates the system gets, they are still robots. My father is a great strength and weapons trainer, but he isn't what I would call a great martial artist. Now don't get me wrong he knows how to fight, but he just isn't great at it. He prefers to have his hammer and quite frankly so do I. But there are times when you simply won't have it, so I have been training for situations when I get caught without it.
Stepping into the pit of hell I look across the room at the robot that has beaten the shit out of many on multiple occasions. It stands at 6 foot, nearly a full head taller than me. Its body is completely made of some shiny metal that can repair itself when damaged so you don't have to constantly buy new robots. Its face is emotionless and it simply stands there waiting for the timer on the wall to hit 0 officially starting the fight. And even though I know its a robot and is not capable of emotions and doesn't even have the parts necessary to form a smirk I swear the robot is smirking at me!
"Stupid cocky robot. I'll teach you to not underestimate me, over there just standing, staring, looking at me like you about to whoop my ass! NOT TODAY BIG MAN! I'M ABOUT TO LAY THE SMACKDOWN ON YOU!"
As the clock hits zero we both walk towards each other. when we are in striking distance the robot, with its faster speed strikes first sending high kick with its left leg for my right temple. lifting my right arm I block it with my forearm and return the favor with a high kick aimed for the robots left temple. I can feel how every part of my body is working together to both take the momentum of the robots kick and the force derived from my left leg; which is posted on the ground forming a center point for which I can deliver as much power through my right leg as possible.
not expecting the block and the immediate kick which followed the robot takes the hit directly and staggers. taking advantage of this moment I immediately bombard it with punches aimed at any opening I can find.
Face *smash*
Left side of torso *crack*
Right knee *crunch*
Jaw *shatter*
Finding every opening possible I use my improved coordination and balance to drive the robot to the ground then continue to pound on it until I hear the buzzer signaling the robot is "unconscious" or unable to continue to fight back.
Immediately getting off of the robot I immediately strike the best flexing Arnold pose I can do and yell.
"FUCK YEAH I KICKED YOUR ASS STUPID ASS COCKY ROBOT! WHO IS YOUR DADDY NOW? I SAID WHO! IS! YOUR! DADDY! NOW! what can't answer! Guess you can't because you just got your ass WHOOPED"
Hearing the mic come on signaling someone had been watching I hear my dads' voice come over the intercom.
*HAHAHAHA* "THAT'S MY BOY! YOU SHOW THAT ROBOT WHOS BOSS! And great pose! It's enough to make a grown man cry!" *sob*
As he is saying that I can hear a faint sob as the mic cuts out. (i guess when he said enough to make a grown man cry he wasn't joking)
This is my first attempt at writing a fight scene. I hope you liked it and if you have any tips don't be a stranger and please leave them in the comment section. I based this fight loosely off of the recent Conor Vs cowboy MMA fight. of course, I took some liberties and changed some(a lot of it) but it is what it is. Now for the second chapter of the day, don't be expecting it for a few hours as I have stats homework I have to do and I am not looking forward to it. well anyways as always I hope you have a great day. :)
