Chapter 10: Training with a Legend?...

-2 years later -

"now let me introduce you to our graduating class from Little Legends Elementary school. Please hold all aplause until all of the students have come and grabbed their deploma. first John Averys, Bobby Boudroux, David Braveheart, Kelsey Cox,..."

"That is our graduating class this year, they have all worked very hard and are ready to go off and move to an intermediate school where they will surely meet new friends and get new wonderful life experiences"

*clapping* *crying* *laughing*

thank god thats finally over. It seems that this school does a graduation like at high school or college but its for elementary school students. i don't really understand the point but i'm sure its for the parents more than for the kids. Well at least i can finally leave elementary school and move on up to intermediate school which makes me that much closer to lander and my hero certification. And at the end of the day thats all that really matters.

As i look around i notice my parents talking to the parents of other students so i decide not to bother them. heading off towards the playground where there are likely to be less people i look around and find no one. perfect. i head to the monkeybars, not because i want to hang from them or cross them, no i head toward them because they are perfect for a quick workout! heading over i jump up and grab hold of the bars and start to do pull ups, chin ups, and hanging crunches.

As im nearing the end of my quick prom to work out my parents finally exit the building and head towards me. finishing i drop down and look towards them and ask...

"whats up? can we finally leave?"

"yeah we're just about to leave but first i want to take some pictures of you in front of the school and your father has some questions for you."(mom)

"sure i would love to take some pictures mom! are we going to take pictures of only me or family pictures?"

*smile*"we will do both, i don't want to forget this moment and there is no better way to keep it forever then to take some pictures right?"(mom)

*haha*"you're absolutely right dear!"(dad)

i have learned many years back that it is better to not complain when asked to do something by my mother. When she says or asks something its better just to go to it with a smile on your face because she is not asking she or telling you, its an order and its better to take it as such.*shiver*

After taking way to many pictures we get in the car and my dad starts to speak about an opportunity that he has gotten for me that may peek my interest.

"hey son my old mentor from after i graduated lander is currently living in colorado running a bar with nothing much to do and after i got to talking with him about you and your power it peaked his interest. we were wondering if you would like to go and live there for the summer and train under him for the summer? now you would have to work in his bar as a waiter as well but it will earn you some money, and honestly he is one of the best strongmen to have ever lived"

"oh who was your mentor and do you think it would be worth my while to go and train under him for the summer?"

*hahaha* "worth your while? if he isn't worth training under no one is! you might know his name he goes by the hero moniker "Titan"!"

"YOU MENTORED UNDER TITAN! OF COURSE IM WILLING TO TRAIN UNDER HIM, I FOLLOW HIS MOTTO "HIT AND GET HIT" HE IS LIKE THE GREATEST STRONGMAN EVER!"

*pouting*"your old man isn't so bad ya know, i'm also quite popular"

"sorry dad, of course your the greatest, but i heard he is a disgraced hero with him cheating on his wife with a man on his hero team then abandoning his family and all that"

*haha*"i knew i loved you for a reason son! and yes he is currently down on his luck, after being outed as gay and bashed in the public eye he decided to run away and open a gay bar in colorado instead of face his wife and son. but that doesn't make him any less of a hero then what he was. it just means his family life is a little complicated."

"no i understand, he was put in a very difficult position and he took the easy route instead of facing the problem head on. hopefully he will be able to overcome this obstacle with his family, because this must be brutal on his son."

"well enough about that, since you want to go we will fly you out tomorrow morning, make sure to pack your bags well because you will need clothes for all summer."

"will do dad, i will miss both of you a lot, make sure to stay safe, oh and mom this wouldn't be a bad time to get pregnant i always kind of wanted a sibling" *hehehe* *cheeky smile*

"oh uh... I said you have been looking absolutly radiant recently! have you changed what lotion you use? or are you aging in reverse!? i swear everytime i see you, you look more beautiful and ageless by the day!"

*smile* "that's what i thought you said. you are such a sweet talker, i can't wait for you to bring home some nice girl for me to meet but she better not think of stealing my delicate boy from me or there will be ... complications"*devil illusion is nearly a solid form now*

*shiver*note to self make sure to pick a strong woman to bring home or she will be devoured by mother
