Trouble at the Academy (2)

I couldn't bear to see the student getting tortured and unknowingly surging killing intent rose in my body.

The surrounding temperature dropped by several degrees. The killing intent kept surging out of my body and spread throughout the hall. Everybody started staring at me and took a few steps back.

Pavan looked at me and saw a monster ready to be unleashed. The sounds of the whipping were getting louder and louder.

Just then the doors of the hall blasted open, the commotion caught everyone's attention and even the Bowan stared at the entrance of the hall.

A man in white clothes with a crown badge on his shoulder with 2 students followed in the hall. I noticed the auras of the student and found out they were already at Peak mid-level Mortal cultivation.

The aura of the white man was heavy and majestic. Besides me, Pavan shivered and said with a sacred voice " T-thats the Master of the Sun Lion academy Master Ronald"

I frowned and the killing intent in my body finally calmed down.

Bowan frowned and disappeared from his spot and suddenly reappeared in front of Master Ronald.

Bowan said " Master Ronald you grace us with your presence"

Master Ronald snorted and said " Don't try to sweet talk Bowan I know all of your dark secrets so it's better if we talk in private but if you want your academy to fall then it will be my pleasure to reveal everything in front of everyone around here"

Bowan's face turned ugly as he said " You come into my academy and threaten me in front of everyone."

Master Ronald snorted "Don't even try to intimidate me, you know very well that you can't defeat me so you should shut your mouth and lead the way "

Bowen didn't even retort as he turned and disappeared from his stop and with that Masted Ronald disappeared as well.

The two students accompanying him stood motionless as they waited for their Master to arrive.

I asked Pavan "What's going on here?"

"I think it's the grudge between Master Bowan and Master Ronald, apparently they were two friends and they started the Martial art journey together and eventually fell in love.

The problem was that they unknowingly fell in love with the same girl. They both pursued her but the girl didn't like Bowan and preferred Ronald instead. One day Ronald was with the girl and was spotted by Bowan. Bowan ragged so much and they immediately started fighting in the mall itself. They were both geniuses and they were both at peak Advanced Mortal cultivation so you can understand how intense the fight was.

Bowan couldn't bear to see the love of his life go with someone else so he amidst the fight killed her.

This made Ronald go berserk and he ascended to Master level cultivation during the fight and defeated Bowan. Ronald didn't kill Bowan only and only because of their friendship."

I was shocked. I knew Bowan was cruel but this was more than that. I was disgusted even more and finally had more reasons to dethrone Bowan.

"What about the damages and the casualties in the mall who was that compensated?"

Pavan laughed and said "Do you think they care about the damages caused? When the officers found out that there were two Advanced level martial artists fighting in the mall they were jumping with joy. They would rather gain favour than provoke martial artists since they are the foundation of every country."

I understood that if I want to have respect and power the only possible way is to get stronger.

After a long time, both Masters Bowan and Ronald came down and went toward the exit.

Bowan's face was ugly as hell and Master Ronald was all smiles. Bowan didn't even escort Master Ronald to the exit and went to his office.

As Master Ronald was heading towards the exit he suddenly turned and looked at me.

A look of surprise flashed through his eyes and left.

Pavan looked at me and said wearily "I don't know but I know that you have a lot of guts to be able to stare eye-to-eye with a Master ."

I said nothing and looked in the direction of Ronald and fell into thought.

In the evening I went home and thought about all of the things that happened in my life.

First I saved a man who turned out to be the CEO of Sterling Technology and he gifted me a 6-star hotel the Golden Leaf. I encountered an assassin while going home and subdued him.

Right now the assassin is locked up in Albert's warehouse and he still needs to be interrogated. I met a mysterious girl named Maya and she sent some weird energy to look into my body but the System thankfully blocked the energy out.

Everything in my life is a mess and I need to figure everything out as soon as possible.
