By now, it was already eleven in the midday.
Huang An left from the side exit, his steps light. In less than fifteen minutes, he had left the western perimeter of the city and was closing in on the central area of Feng'an City.
The area that lay before him was lively and bustling, a perennial hubbub of hawkers shouting their wares. With the year's end approaching, the atmosphere would only grow more spirited.
Huang An had planned to buy some gifts for the new year here. It was his way of perpetuating his assumed identity while also bringing back some exotic gifts for his parents.
The origins of the gifts couldn't be openly discussed, but at least he had fulfilled his filial duties. This knowledge satisfied Huang An.
