"How was your trip, master?" Sam set their bags by the front door so the staff could return them to the bedrooms and get the old clothes in the washer. Like bees in a hive, they worked together to give Paul everything he needed.
"Wonderful," Paul answered. "Mrs. Masseto and I had a great time."
Whenever he called her in front of someone like that Regina started to feel a bit self-conscious. She still was not used to her new name.
"I am glad to hear it," Sam answered. "Is there anything I can do for you? Prepare lunch? Afternoon tea?"
"No," Paul answered. "We are going to shower and retire upstairs for the rest of the day. I will let you know when we are ready for dinner."
"Understood." Sam gave him a slight bow before he turned to her. "Mrs. Masseto."
It was the first time he gave her the same kind of bow he used to give to Paul before he walked back into the kitchen.
"He does not need to bow to me," She told Paul.
