THE PURE MAGIC REALM...

    Lily promised Dela that she will be right back but never show up till they closed. The next day, he meet her when he was walking in the hallway.

    " Hi, good morning". He greeted.

" Morning.. how are you".

   " I'm good".

" Sorry about yesterday ".

   "Is nothing..but where did you go to ". He asked.

    " What did Asher tell you?". She said ignoring his question.

  " Well, he said that he was supernatural and has been sent to protect and train me". He said with a wondering face.

  " So, because he said that you believed him right away?". She asked with a surprised look.

  " Yes, why not". He shrugged.

" Dammit, you are so naive". Lily said.

   " And what is wrong with that?". She asked.

" Everything Dela, everything is wrong with that . You can't trust people easily like that . It's dangerous!". She scolded and he pressed his lips together.

   " How can trust be dangerous?". He asked and Lily signed. ( What is wrong with him now? Why this sudden question). She thought and stared at him for some seconds before she looked away.

    " I didn't say that trust is dangerous, what I mean was that we don't trust easily for is dangerous. Putting your trust in someone you know exactly nothing about is crazy". She said.

  Dela stood there for a while before saying.

" What about you?  Do you want me to trust you?". He asked and she cleared her throat.

  " Don't trust me yet, Dela. Get to know me perfect first". She said.

   " If I eventually get to you better, how am I sure to trust you?". He asked.

  " Your heart will tell you". She said and held his hand, leading him to the school hangout spot. she made him sat down then she sat beside him, maintaining a good distance from him. For who knows when he will become angry and roast her to bits?

   Dela sat down and begin to play with his fingers.

    " Are you mad at me"? He asked.

Lily turned to look at him. He was innocent, naive, inexperienced, and weird. Well, she is weird too. She was the kind of person that hates getting stressed. She likes when things are perfect and are done with immediate effect. she doesn't waste time and doesn't fail to lash out at anyone who behaves in a gullible way.

   "I don't mind at that Dela, I'm only concerned about your well-being, now that most of the dark magical creatures are aware of your existence".

   She answered.

" Dark creatures? Like .... vampires?". She asked.

" Yeah. You don't need to be scared". She said.

   " I'm going to train you on how to use your powers. You're the heir to the throne of pure magic which means that there is a demon side within you that need to be caged. So, you must work on your temper. Do you remember what you did yesterday ?". She asked.

    " Of course, I remember! I can't forget that in such a hurry".  he answered.

" Good. That was an introduction of your demon side. It comes into being when you get angry". She said.

  " I don't want any demonic side, demons are mostly villains and I hate them. I can't be one of them. Besides I wanna fight against them. Please help me".  He pleaded.

  " I'll help you, but you have to do something for me". She said and looked at his expression changed.

   " What is that". He asked

" Don't reveal your identity to anyone, don't accept any gift from anyone. Don't allow them to trick you by saying they want to train you and don't make friends with other supernatural beings, especially here LING'S HIGH SCHOOL".  Lily answered.

   " Why shouldn't I make friends with them? ". He asked.

  Dela was doing all this and was pretending to be inexperienced to see if Lily was a person to trust as she told him just now.

   " You'll understand as time goes on. For now consider me as your only friend". She said and smiled.

  " Let me escort you to class". She said and held his hand again.

He stood up and she took him back to his class and went to her father's office.

  Dela sighed and entered the class, he walked straight to his seat.

   He tapped king who was resting his head on the desk. " Are you okay"? He asked as he remembered how Luca was choking him on the neck.

King raised his head and stared at Dela. He shuddered when he remembered how scary Dela looked yesterday. Who would believe that this gentle and innocent soul in front of him would be so fierce?

" Hello, are you alright"? Dela asked when he realized how the king was watching him too much.

  King cleared his throat. " I'm alright, I'm good.. nothing is wrong with me ". He said and fake a smile.

   Dela bent and looked at his neck but there was nothing there. He sighed and brought out his books from his bags and make preparation for his lesson. he knew why king stared at him like that. He wishes all that will be over soon. He pretended like nothing happened that day.

       THE PRINCIPAL'S OFFICE

Mr. ling, lily's father sat down on his office chair, swaying from left to right with his index finger curved around his jaw. On his table laid a piece of paper where he sketched the image of Dela. He chuckled as the paper started floating in the air.

  " Little boy, you are my ticket to a world of immense and unfathomable power! It isn't going to be hard to get you. Your innocence and naivety will make this mission a piece of cake for Lily. It won't be long before she will makes you fall uncontrollably for him, then you'll become our puppet". He chuckled and the door to the office opened.

  Lily walked in and sat down, she look at his face unreadable.

   " How did it go?". Mr. Ling asked.

" It went bizarre yesterday! That boy is deadly when he is angry". Lily said.

  " That is why we need him". His father said and smirked.

   " But dad, what do we need him for?". She asked.

  Mr.ling looked at Lily and laughed. " You will get to know very soon, daughter".

   " But I want to know it now. I can't be helping you to achieve something I don't know anything about". Lily said.

  " Daughter, I'm not going to hurt him if that is your fear". He said.

" Yeah. That is my fear, and the fact that I am not sure of what might come out of this makes it harder for me". She said.

" So you are worried about him". Mr ling asked and he didn't wait for lily to answer before asking her a question.

  " Do you like him?". Lily gasped. " Dad, how can you say that?". She asked.

  " Because I know my daughter likes the back of my hand. You only worry about people you like and care about. And if you don't like him, then perhaps you are planning to". Mr. ling said.

    " Dad, I don't like him and I'm not planning to do anything.. besides I'm older than him by two sold years. I'm only concerned because he is too naive and gullible ". Lily defended.

  " You shouldn't be worried about that, daughter . That's what we supposed to use against him". He said and chuckled.

Lily signed and ruffled her hair. (I'm having a bad feeling about all this). She muttered to herself.

    THE REALM OF PURE MAGIC

History has it that this beautiful paradise was home to the most beautiful and handsome creation of all time. it consisted of diverse supernatural beings from different worlds, all gathered in one place. Its rulers (king and Queen) were sometimes perceived as immortals because of the powers try possessed.

   It was like a floating city because whenever you look down, there wasn't any ground. It just looked like a bottomless pit a magnificent kingdom high above it.

The people went about their daily activities, but with a little help from the magic of course.

   THE PALACE

It was a magnificent building, made entirely out of gold. The gate was gold, doors were gold, pillars, fountains, you name it! There were touches of gold on anything you will come across. The THRONE wasn't excluded.

  There were three special THRONE'S in the palace. One for the king, another for the Queen, and the last for the heir or heiress. Each throne was made of pure gold with pure gold eagle wings behind them.

  Seated on the throne was Angel Uzziah. Unfortunately, the two thrones were vacant. Angel Uzziah whom all creatures called 'king Ziah' held his Trident tightly. It seemed like he was meditating when a guard rushed in unannounced.

   ' Your majesty, there is trouble". He bowed with his head on the floor.

  He snapped his eyes opened and stared at him. Then nodded his head and he stood up with his head bent.

   " You are one of the guards, securing the ocean of magic. Is there anything wrong?". King Ziah said.

" Your Majesty, the water!" He said, horror written all over his face.

He stood up at once.

   "Your majesty, the ...the water has turned blue on one side, yellow on the side, read at extreme, and black at the middle". He said gasping.

  That is not all, the black seems to be taking over the other colors".

   "Take me there immediately". King Ziah said as he stepped down from the throne.

   The guard bowed and he called other people and they vanished.

   They appeared right at the ocean. the ocean was the one that maintained the balance between all supernatural realms. If anything should trigger it, it will put all the realm in danger, especially that of pure magic.

  He appeared and everything was just as the guard came to announce.

  "What is going on, why is the black color trying to cover there in the first place? I remember the river was naturally pure blue before".

His own follow guard whom he does almost everything with him for he was a good trustworthy friend, said and put his hand on his forehead.

  "That may be because a stronger power has been unleashed". Samantha answered immediately she appeared there. Samantha was realms-wise, more like a seer. She gives advice, solves puzzling problems, and does a lot of things about the realm well-being.

   "What are you saying..I mean what are you trying to say?". King Ziah asked.

"Those bright colors represent the power of light while the dark one represents that of the demons and the vampires.

   "The black powers are trying to cover the rest of the colors because of what happened yesterday".

    She said and King Ziah's face changed. What must be happening that he doesn't know..or what was coming that he doesn't know. What was the meaning of all that?

  "The heir!". King Ziah turned his head only to meet Samantha with her eyes turned white as snow.

   "What happened". He said.

" The heir ".

    "You mean, Dela my son?.".

"Yes". She said still with her eyes white.

"What happened to him yesterday ".

    "You shouldn't be asking what happened to him, asked what he has done". Samantha said and laughed.

   King Ziah sighed in relief.

"What has he done, is he not in Korea with Maggie?".  He tries suggesting what he has done.

  "No your majesty". She replied.

"Then what happened to him?".

"Your son has come of age". Samantha said with a smile.

  "Stop beating around the bush and speak". Rollins said. He was the best and most trustworthy friend of King Ziah.

   Samantha laughed and closed her eyes. She stayed like that for a minute before opening them and the water returned to its normal form.

She looked at King Ziah and at his sub-members who are with him in the palace and said.

   "Dela isn't human".

They gasped. King Ziah signaled the guards to move farther away from them. They bowed and went to stand at the far end of the river.  Realizing they were far away from their hearing, he asked her.

   "What are you saying? Dela was born without any powers at all. He was born a human even when I consulted all the powerful pure magic powers men, they couldn't hold him his powers..so he was born a human for I went to see his mother after he was born and I even gave her my apologies for not fulfill my promise..".

   FLASHED BACK

"Uzziah, what do you mean you are going to take my baby out of my stomach ". Cecilia said with a sad face.

   "I'm not saying I'm going to take your baby out..I said I will take the one you are carrying right now out for I see the bad person he will be after he is born ".

    "Really ".

"Yes.. Cecilia, do you believe supernatural beings exist ". He asked with his eyebrows twisted.

   "I don't know but I don't think they are there like how they talk about them in movies and novels.. like even the one you gave me".

"Hmmm..then I'm telling you they are there, I mean they exist and they are real. Demons and vampires are real. They are always among human beings in other to blend in and manipulate their minds ".

    "Really! ".

"Of course, that is why I want you to have a baby who will be powerful and will be from the pure magic powers realm".

   "They have realms too?".

"Yes, I will explain it to you later ".

"Okay ". She nodded

  "So now I will give you my only son, who is the heir to my throne and when I have gone home to rest he will take over my throne".

     "Is your son too a magical creature?".

"Of course, my blood runs through him".

"Is this the gift you said you will give me?". She asked with her face beamed with joy.

   "Yes, that is what I promise you..so you will have a magic baby". He said and smiled.

       MONTHS LATER.

"Uzziah you promise me a magical baby, wasn't that what you said. Now why is my baby falling sick every day, is he too weak to have the powers or what?".

Cecilia said while he took another look at her baby who had been wrapped in a pure white sheet. His eyes were as blue as the ocean and his mouth was pink as ever. That was the only thing Cecilia liked about him if not that she will have thrown him away for she thought he was going to have powers that instant.

   "Take your time Cecilia, every good thing take its time to develop". He said.

Cecilia looked at him for a while and then she said.

  "It's okay I like my human baby like that you can go". She said and told him to leave.

   "I'm sorry Cecilia but I didn't mean for any of this to happen". He said and vanished with his head hung low.

      PLEASANT

"But he isn't, his powers were locked at his birth. I am aware that Maggie was born a human before she developed her powers. But Dela is different. Maggie was half human and half supernatural. But Dela is a full supernatural. His powers didn't show up immediately after he was born because it was stronger than him. So as he grew, his powers grew with him and now his powers have surfaced". Samantha said in one breath.

  King Ziah couldn't believe what he just heard. So all this while he thought he as given birth to a human, it was a process? His son was a supernatural being too./!. His heir who will soon take over the throne was supernatural too!.

   (Was that why Cecilia send him to Korea for Maggie to train him?). He thought to himself. He Suddenly felt joy build inside him as a smile crept up on his face.

  "This is good news, Cecilia will be happy to hear this". He said.

"Don't get too excited your majesty, the boy has a demon side effects on him". Samantha said.

  "Demon? But we have no Demons in our lineage.Where will he have gotten a demonic side from?". He said and bend his head low.
