"I still can't believe this sir!" A short blonde haired man answered the man who was standing tall at the window.

"Sigh! Thank you Edwin for the information. It's just that I don't know how to tell my woman about this. She will never accept that family to be hers no matter what. Many years have passed now, and she had become more stubborn and beautiful. Hahaha!" The man who was non-other than Alex beamed already fantasizing confusing the man who was gazing at him.

Just now, they were talking about something very serious and now his boss had managed to turn the conversation into a fantasy. Indeed, his boss was obsessed with that girl.

"Sorry sir but what can we do about this? Should we inform Mr Samir about his los.."

"Try that and I will roast you myself! I want him to suffer! I want him to lose weight more than he already is. I want him to regret everything he did to my girl! I want him to pay! Samir must pay for hurting his own daughter! He must NOT find out that Blessing is his daughter! He has to suffer! You hear me?" Alex's voice reverberated in the massive hotel room that he now was in. His fists were already pale because of the force he inserted on them with gritted teeth.

He then turned to gaze at the man who was talking nonsense according to him. 

Alex had changed a lot in the past years.

His chest muscles had increased by just looking at his white shirt, one could conclude.  His black hair was combed nicely at the back of his head. He looked handsome more than the way he was five years ago. His flawless face was now manly enough that the veins on his forehead were evident. After all, right now, he was thirty-three years old. So indeed, it was understandable.

"Y-yes boss!" The man who was staring at him answered with sweat on his forehead. He feared his boss even though, the man was kind to all of them.

"This is between the two of us Edwin. If I hear something like this somewhere else, I won't bat my eye before cutting your throat apart! I will be the only one to deal with this! I repeat, no one should tell that cruel man who is pretending to be a changed man right now, because he is trying to find the daughter that he knew nothing about, about this. Let him suffer with that heartless cripple daughter of his. I think it is because of what she did to my Blessing that is why she is now a vegetable! Let them search until they give up on her. After all, they don't know where exactly Blessing's foster parents live. So I have nothing to worry about" Alex uttered the words proudly as if he wasn't talking about Jamilah and her father.

The girl's condition was beyond imagination. She had turned to something else.

Since that day the unknown person let her view her reflection in the mirror, she had tried several times to end her life but each time she tried, she would fail.

After she fainted, her parents did everything to bring her back to life. 

Sincere then, she had become more stubborn that her parents had to tie her up because even though she was crippled, the girl would crawl to the kitchen to look for harmful equipment to end up her life. In return, she would hurt her leg that was waiting to be amputated.

Her parents had tried hard so that the leg wouldn't be amputated but time was not on their side right now. They had to accept it no matter what or lose their daughter.

Soon, Alex knew they would have to accept it.

Not that only, Jamilah tried to remove the mask but her parents didn't allow that immediately after she regained her consciousness.
