The Year 2007,

New York City,

Inside the director's office in SHIELD Headquarters, Nicholas Joseph "Nick" Fury, a stern-looking black man with an eye patch on his left eye could be seen sitting at his desk dressed in his signature black coat.

He was currently looking at the hologram projection showing the information on the on-going search for the missing Tony Stark after they are attacked by a group of terrorist during his business trip in Afganisthan.

Tony Stark's extraordinary intellect is an important asset to America, but if he fell into the hands of enemy, he was a threat that should be neutralized. Although he was Howard's son, Nick wouldn't hesitate to eliminate him if necessary.

*Knock* *Knock*

As the crisp wooden door being pounded sounded, Nick Fury waved his hand and the hologram projection disappear before turning his head and responded. "Come in." the door slowly opens and one of his elite agent, Maria Hill enters the office.

"Agent Hill, is there any update to the task I've ask you to do?" Nick went around his desk and take a seat.

"Sir, we suspect that SCPwiki are created by the SCP Foundation, only they have the capability to fully repel our team effortlessly." Maria handed down the document to Nick and said. "We are still investigating why they are doing this, but from their previous actions, we thinks that this is one of their containment procedure for an anomaly."

"Or, their goal have changed." Nick said as he opened the document and scanned its content. Then, he furrowed his brows. "The Foundation have been investigating and contacting individuals that is accessing the SCPwiki?"

"Yes, some of our agents that was reached out by the Foundation's MTF are found dead during encounter. The representative of the Foundation have also sent us a notification that we should not interfere with their affair."

Maria Hill paused for a moment, and said. "Base on their previous records, this is how the Foundation work when they are securing that information about anomalies they are containing."

"But, we still cannot eliminate the possibility that the Foundation have given up their neutral stance." Nick responded with a serious expression before leaning his back to his chair. His one good eye scanned the document once more and ordered, his voice unwavering.

"Continue to stare at the recent activities of the Foundation. Keep me updated on the situation. I want a team on standby, just in case,"

"Understood, sir," Maria replied, nodding before leaving the room to carry out her orders. As soon as the door closed, Nick's expression turned grave.

Supernatural Hazard Investigation, Elimination, and Lockdown Division (SHIELD) was a multi-faceted organization that was established based on the purpose of the SCP Foundation- that is, to preserve normalcy and protect the world against dangerous beings.

However, even with the support from World Security Council, they couldn't be compare with the vast resources and skilled handling and quick reponse of the Foundation against anomalous phenomena around the world.

It could even be said that SCP Foundation is an organization that is necessary for the continuation of the civilization. They serve as the barrier that protects the normal world from the anomalous.

Therefore, a change in their stance could be a great danger that can affect the world. Nick didn't think that there is anyone capable of stopping the SCP Foundation when they wanted to destroy the world.

Especially when the Foundation have access to a large number of dangerous anomalies they contained during the centuries of their operation.

"It seems the world really need the an exceptional team that can protect the world in various threats and catastrophic events." Nick mutter with a firm expression on his eyes. "Avenger Initiative must be quickly put forward."

He had this plan several months now, but he didn't really push it towards the World Security Council as he was still observing the people that fit the criteria for the team. But, with the current situation, it seems he had to accelerate this plan.

He was certain that the World Security Council will approve of this plan as this involved the SCP Foundation and the anomalous.
