Chapter 1Prologue : Info Dump

It's been 100 years ever since humans discovered special abilities that made them achieve feats that seemed only possible in superhero movies. People gained different powers like telekinesis, fire manipulation, ice manipulation, teleportation, and so on. Humans could awaken these powers mostly at the age of 16. Though they already had the powers, it was locked up and could only be accessed through the awakening process. Once one was past this age, getting abilities was a no-go area

Of course, as the saying goes, where there is good, there is bad, they can't exist without each other. Creatures also, which were thought to be extinct, and some even unknown started appearing, each of them with their special abilities.

Humanity's first encounter with these creatures gave birth to war, in which many people lost their lives. It seemed that some people were evenly matched with some creatures in terms of prowess while others were not. Therefore after experimenting and observing, humans finally brought about a ranking system to grade the power levels of humans and beast

Human Grading System

Basic Level

Ignition: Individuals at this level can ignite small sparks of fire, often limited to lighting candles or starting small fires. Their control over the flame is minimal, and the flames typically cannot be sustained for long periods.

Telekinesis: At the basic level, telekinetic users can move small objects, such as pencils or coins, over short distances. Their precision is limited, and maintaining focus is a challenge.

Healing: Basic healers can mend minor cuts and bruises, providing temporary relief but not fully healing more severe injuries.

Telepathy: Basic telepaths can sense basic emotions and thoughts within a close range, but cannot fully read minds or communicate complex ideas telepathically.

Intermediate Level:

Ignition: These individuals can create and manipulate moderate flames, such as fireballs. They can sustain and control the fire for longer periods, and their flames can cause significant damage.

Telekinesis: Intermediate telekinetics can move larger objects, like furniture or small vehicles. Their control and precision improve, allowing for more complex manipulations.

Healing: Intermediate healers can mend broken bones and heal deeper wounds. They can also reduce the severity of illnesses.

Telepathy: Telepaths at this level can communicate simple thoughts and ideas with others over moderate distances. They can also sense deeper emotions and thoughts.

Advanced Level

Ignition: Advanced users can generate and control large flames, such as creating walls of fire or firestorms. They can manipulate fire with high precision and sustain it over extended periods.

Telekinesis: Advanced telekinetics can lift and move extremely heavy objects, such as large vehicles or boulders. They can perform precise manipulations with multiple objects simultaneously.

Healing: Advanced healers can perform near-miraculous healings, such as regenerating lost limbs or curing severe diseases. They can also heal multiple people at once.

Telepathy: Advanced telepaths can engage in complex telepathic communication over long distances. They can also influence or control the thoughts of others to some extent.

Expert Level

Ignition: Experts can manipulate fire on a massive scale, such as creating firestorms or shaping fire into complex forms like dragons. They have near-perfect control over their flames.

Telekinesis: Expert telekinetics can manipulate extremely heavy objects with ease and precision. They can also perform delicate manipulations at a molecular level.

Healing: Expert healers can restore life to the brink of death and heal multiple severe injuries simultaneously. They can also reverse chronic conditions and age-related ailments.

Telepathy: Expert telepaths can engage in intricate telepathic networks, connecting multiple minds. They can deeply influence or even rewrite memories and thoughts.

Strength: Expert-level strength allows individuals to perform superhuman feats, such as lifting buildings or causing seismic impacts with their punches. Their physical resilience is near invulnerability.

Master Level

:Ignition: Masters can manipulate fire in ways that defy natural laws, such as creating sentient fire beings or controlling fire at a molecular level. Their flames can burn through nearly anything.

Telekinesis: Masters can manipulate matter at a quantum level, moving and rearranging particles to create or destroy matter. Their control is absolute.

Healing: Master healers can resurrect the recently deceased and perform instantaneous healings of any injury or illness. They can also enhance the physical abilities of others.

Telepathy: Master telepaths can access and manipulate the collective consciousness, influencing entire populations. Their mental power extends across vast distances, even spanning multiple cities

Within all these levels, there were also smaller levels ranging from tier 1 to 3. A tier three Basic ability user can blast little fireballs and also ignite small objects.

Beast ranking system:

Common beasts: These creatures are almost like your average wild animals, but they possess the ability to control various elements. They typically have moderate physical abilities and use their elemental powers for defense or hunting.

*Common Beasts are generally small to medium-sized and do not pose significant threats to experienced humans with basic or intermediate abilities.

Greater Beasts: Greater Beasts possess advanced physical abilities and highly developed elemental powers. They are large, highly intelligent, and capable of complex strategies. These creatures often combine multiple elemental abilities with superior physical prowess, making them significant threats to humans with advanced abilities.

Lesser Demons: Lesser Demons exhibit significant special powers and physical prowess. They are highly intelligent and can strategize effectively, posing serious threats to humans with advanced or expert abilities. These creatures often have dark or demonic origins, granting them unique and formidable powers.

Archdemons: Archdemons are extraordinarily powerful beings with immense special abilities and physical strength. They are highly intelligent and often lead lesser demons and beasts in coordinated attacks. These creatures are rare and pose extreme threats, often requiring multiple expert-level humans to defeat.

Leviathans:

Leviathans are mythical and legendary beasts of enormous size and power. They possess god-like abilities and are often considered forces of nature themselves. These creatures are extremely rare and are often the subjects of legends and myths, posing catastrophic threats that can affect entire regions or ecosystems.

All beasts leave behind a certain crystal after they die. Humans could evolve by eating these crystals. A tier 1 basic ability user could evolve to tier 2 after eating about 30 crystals of common beasts. From thence, they could evolve further but the amount of crystals needed would start increasing.

Humans soon started building different academies where young ability users could come, train, and become very powerful ability users who might save the world from these creatures in the future. The academy was free as a result of the high rate of Orphans in the country.

"Hmm" Rex sighed after reading all about the history of these creatures, he closed the book with a wide smile spread across his face. "I'll be starting the academy tomorrow, I wonder what my ability will be," He said.

He climbed onto his bed where a picture was laid depicting his younger self along with his dad and mom. "I'll become strong so I can protect the ones I love" He said as a determined expression found its way to his face.

A/N: I only gave the common use of each ability, for instance, telekinesis can also be used differently, not just controlling objects

"Now you see?" she shouted in a tone that was somewhere between annoyance and disappointment. "You can’t outsmart Scrients! They’re the most intelligent beings across the two realms!" "You’re right," I muttered, averting my gaze with a solemn sigh. "I made a mistake. I was arrogant to think a mere human like me could fool them." —BOOM!! "...Wh-What was that?" "Hmm? I’m not sure. Maybe you should go and ask the most intelligent beings across the two realms. Oh wait! You can’t. I killed them all." --- My name is Samael Kaizer Theosbane. On the last day of high school, I got into a fight with a kid I used to bully. It was a stupid and pointless scuffle. And in the middle of it, I tripped and smacked my head on a rock. That’s when the memories came flooding in… Memories of a different life. Memories of another world. Suddenly, everything made a twisted kind of sense. I realized two things. First: I was inside a game I used to play in my past life. Second: I was a villain. A villain! Not the cool, mysterious, tragic kind either! No, I was the worst kind of cliché — a spoiled, insufferable, and arrogant young master. The sort you'd find in those poorly written fantasy stories. You know the type! The one everyone hates. The one the hero would beat into the ground to show everyone just how strong and righteous he is. Yeah. I was that guy! My fate was to be a stepping stone for the main characters, be manipulated by a Demon Prince, and die a dog's death. And the hero? The hero was the same kid I’d been bullying all this time. The one I just got into a fight with. He was supposed to be the savior of this damned world. A world teetering on the edge of destruction, beset by wars, calamities, and a grim future that only I knew. And waiting at the end of it all was the final antagonist. The unbeatable nightmare. …The Spirit King. But could I even make it to the end? Could I really survive in a game where defeat was the only certainty? A game that had now become my reality? “Ah, fuck it.” I had no idea if I could. But I sure as hell was going to try. Extorting extras, manipulating main characters, altering the story to my advantage, stealing the hero’s cheat items, killing villains long before they could become threats — nothing was beneath me. Would the main characters be affected by my actions? Excellent! Would the story change? Even better! All I cared about was me. My survival. My life. My choices. “I’ll live this life with no regrets.” ...But as I soon discovered, fate wasn't so easily changed. And the price of rewriting your destiny was steep. ========== Discord Server: https://discord.gg/VjFQtDUaTR

Primordial Villain with a Slave Harem

Quinlan, a simple office worker finds himself transmigrated to an extremely dangerous fantasy land as a level 1 Commoner with nothing to his name but his wits - and a unique gift that accompanied his teleportation. No one in Thalorind could have predicted that this unassuming arrival would one day rise to the top, redefining the very meaning of the term 'power'... And that he may have achieved said result by joining a criminal organization and clawing his way through its ranks. In the beginning, Quinlan was painfully weak and alone but thanks to his severe trust issues, joining a team was... hard. However, he soon noticed that a lot of people have collars around their necks in this world... People that couldn't exactly betray him. Follow Quinlan's journey as he grows in strength, amasses wealth, fights to the death, and meets lovely ladies. ... Discord: https://discord.gg/bjunEkswQ3 ... After writing over 750 chapters, here’s what you should know: 1. About the beginning: The early chapters are a bit rough. I'm not saying that it's horrible, in fact, I believe the story to be very enjoyable right from chapter 1. But, at the end of the day, this is my first original novel, and I stumbled in some areas, especially with the MC's attitude. He's too reserved and occasionally too "simpy" with the first female lead. However, the MC grows into a confident, powerful, and composed figure. No long-term cringe. He becomes the kind of MC you want to root for. 2. Quinlan’s morality: He’s not a cruel, sadistic villain. Most of the time, he won't even be acting like a real villain, only when pushed to the limit. Meaning he won't torture puppies or civilians for fun while cackling manically. However, he’s greedy, shameless, and opportunistic. If the lives of his loved ones are at stake and he can only save them by burning a city with innocents inside down, he’ll do it. He's ruthless toward strangers when necessary, but doesn't delight in cruelty. 3. Regarding slaves: Yes, Quinlan becomes a slave master. However, he treats all his women—free or enslaved—with care and respect. 4. More than smut: Every love interest has a real story, a real presence. No girl will be left behind. As of Chapter 750, Quinlan has 7 lovers and a few more "in-development" love interests. This is not a "catch them all" story, adding one girl every 20 chapters. I prefer harems made up of girls with richly developed characters over giant harems full of shallow ladies. Quality over Quantity. 5. Balanced storytelling: My aim was to create a work where romance, action, and slice-of-life blend together naturally. There’s high-stakes action, power progression, romantic developments, comedy, and some chill downtime to let both the characters and the readers breathe. 6. Weak-to-Strong Progression: Quinlan will become OP. But he rises slowly, not overnight. His journey will hopefully feel earned. 7. Not every female character listed in the fandom is a love interest: Some women are important to the plot but are not part of the harem or a planned to be, such as his two mothers. 8. No Yuri. No NTR. That's it, thank you for taking your chance on my novel! I'll make a promise to you, showing how much I believe you'll love the novel if you get over the somewhat bumpy beginning! If you read 750 chapters and hate the story even after investing so much time into it, then you may burn me alive!

GlaringError here! As I have already mentioned in my author review I am restating it here since I am getting tons of comments about it, that I am more of a reader myself than a writer, I made this novel in an attempt to capture my fantasy world residing in my mind into words.. Writing is new for me.. The premise of my novel is inspired by many great works that I have loved over the years. And some elements I have in my novel that are slightly similar to them but it's just the skeleton of it, the real meat of the plot is entirely my own cooking. Some of the influence that is more noticeable is from The Runesmith (By Kuropon), The King's Avatar (By Butterfly Blue) and Shadow Slave (By Guiltythree). I have immense respect for these legends and I can only hope to follow in their footsteps. To all those who comment just by judging the name, at least give it a chance before letting your opinions be known. Thank you.
