And no, the Mc wont hide his abillities anymore, he was just waiting until he can use Nen, so he can show what he can do, because this can be a excuse to his kagunes and hollow abillities. He aren't the strongest on this world yet, so he has to hide somethings until has a explanation to it, unless he want to die, but i'm not doing a suicide character.

The girl wont stop him or neither try to change his mind, she's just there to interact sometimes...
