"…!"
Brian just stood with his mouth open.
It was just one sentence.
A single sentence from the strongest God in Hindu mythology.
That sentence contained a humongous amount of information. Brian had already speculated past and present of the Genesis Plane based on the information given by Shiva. He knew that it might not be the most accurate, but it was near to what actually existed.
Looking at the dumbstruck Brian changing his expression every second, Shiva slightly smiled. His sentence contained a lot of information but in reality, it depended on how the listener perceived it.
Time passed away while Shiva just closed his eyes and entered a meditative state while Brian continued to think about the words said by Shiva.
1 minute
2 minutes
5 minutes
10 minutes
30 minutes…
After a full hour, Shiva opened his eyes and his eyebrows were slightly raised for an instance before they regained their calm nature.
"Child" He called out
Brian who was still immersed in his own thoughts opened his eyes. There were still question marks almost visible in his eyes but he shook his thoughts aside to use this opportunity.
After all, meeting a God was not a small thing for a small human like Brian.
"Yes, Lord Shiv…"
"huh!!! Where are the 'help's' I gathered? Where are all my Creation Points. What the… is going on" Brian almost cursed in front of a God. He couldn't be blamed for that, after all he had worked 3 years to just get that strength. Anyone would go mad after hearing that all his hard work went to waste.
"Don't panic. That was just borrowed strength. Nothing was your own except your knowledge and experiences." Shiva explained patiently.
Brian took a step back in disbelief. After all, there were months of sleepless nights involved in just thinking about a plan to kill every other human being in [Selection Area]
.
.
.
It took one full minute to digest what a dignified God said. Brian was after all a soldier back on earth. He had trained himself to not be driven by emotions. Added with the experiences on [Selection Area] and the scene of a God breaking the barrier of [Selection Area], it was something much more realistic.
Shiva nodded at the calm demeanor of Brian.
"Why are all these people… asleep?" Brian asked as he pointed at the millions of people lying in the bubble unconscious.
"Not everyone can bear to move in space at such speeds, moreover I don't like chaos" Shiva once again spoke in an ethereal tone.
"A…" Brian who had opened his mouth to ask another question closed it quickly. He understood the meaning of those words and didn't as any more useless questions.
"Can you please give me a little information about the 'Genesis Plane' in your mouth, Lord Shiva?" Brian hesitantly put forward his request.
"HOW DARE YOU!!! I WILL…" The seemingly harmless mount of Lord Shiva suddenly shouted while flames raged in its eyes.
The cow directly released its aura which was countless times stronger than Brian.
"Stop it Nandi!" Shiva gave a glare to his mount and an invisible force surged out of him that cancelled out Nandi's aura. (Nandi is the name of the cow mentioned here)
"ghluh"
"Blaargh"
Brian directly coughed up blood under the slight aura that he faced before Shiva took action.
He didn't even have the strength to stand up. He directly collapsed on the groun…bubble with a thud.
"huff"
"huff"
Breathing heavily, Brian gave a strange look to the cow mount while looking at Lord Shiva with pleading eyes.
Shiva noticed this gaze but didn't respond. He was a God after all, he won't have to explain even if he killed all the millions of people in this bubble.
Even Nandi lowered its head as if afraid of the punishment which will come later. He knew that his God won't punish him in front of anyone, as it would tarnish his reputation. But the punishment will eventually come and it definitely won't be soft.
While laying down Brian felt his situation not to be that bad. It was strangely favourable to him. Now that he had been injured by his own, Shiva definitely can't refuse to Brian's earlier request.
It is purely logical to get something valuable when learning from an expert than a beginner. Brian also hoped to get some valuable teaching from the Great God in front of him which would be helpful for him in the world he was going to step in.
"I won't tell you much about the Genesis plane itself as it will bring only dangers to you rather than any help with your current strength but I promise you to tell about the Genesis plane when you pass the entrance test.
As of now, I will tell you only about the general situation on the plane-
You must've already guessed that strength is the king and the law of jungle is followed everywhere. The actual reality is to be judged after you personally experience the world or maybe you never have that chance…
As for the cultivation there- Read about it on your own" Shiva spoke in a calm voice without any fluctuations as he threw the suddenly appeared giant book towards Brian.
"Chapter 9 Page 96068 " He continued with an indifferent calm posture and closed his eyes after completing.
Brian silently remembered the instructions and opened the book which looked like it was just a few thousand pages long. He wondered how it could have more than 90,000 pages.
There was no title given to the book. The book gave a feeling of ancientness to Brian. It seemed like an antique than a book given to read.
…
A full 6 hour read later
Brian was still reading with enthusiasm. There was no sign of hunger or thirst on his face.
…
4 days later
Brian still continued to read the seemingly short book which continued its pages for some unknown reason.
He had after all not read a book since a very long time due to his training and a new book gave him a sense of excitement like the times when he used to read about a ton of popular novels just to find the perfect 'help' for him and his family.
The contents in that book were nothing short of interesting stuff. It mentioned a lot of things about Genesis plane, the method of cultivation, ways to fight, lifestyle, development of technology, Black hole, Celestial Beings, Sentient races, Gods, Godhood, Churches, Academies, Religion, Belief, Faith, Atoms, Mass, Gravity, Stars, Protoss, Divine Power, Aura and what not.
It also included a lot of information about science and eastern fantasy type cultivation which were also carefully read by Brian.
For some reason, he was able to continue reading without any scruples about food or water. Maintaining focus was nothing but child's play to the curious Brian, so he didn't even raise his head to lance at his surroundings or even Lord Shiva.
…
It was only after 22 days of reading later, Brian finally closed the book which he had been reading without eating or sleeping.
"Haa…" Exhaling deeply, he glanced at his current surroundings.
There was nothing different than before, nobody had woken up except him and Lord Shiva were still sitting on Nandi in a meditative posture.
Looking at the stars and all kinds of asteroids, meteors, and planets in his sight, Brian found a way to test out his knowledge.
He looked at a certain purple-coloured giant star far away and started describing its properties which he just read. He would look into the book from time to time to crosscheck his answers and learn the ins and outs of that planet/star.
He spent most of the time trying to figure out what Lord Shiva said to him while giving the book.
He found nothing important in Chapter 9 page 96068.
It was just some information about a spider race named Kobbers.
Brian was definitely sure that a God like Shiva wouldn't ask him to read about Kobbers.
But he didn't find anything.
…
Trying to clear up his mind, he shivered in excitement while thinking about Genesis Plane.
Due to not having any information earlier, Brian thought that world to be like a normal cultivation or magus kind of world.
But, it was not the case…
The name Genesis means 'the origin'. It is situated somewhere in the supermassive black hole situated in between the Milky Way.
It is also referred to as the fourth dimension. Space and Time are also deterred due to its humongous power.
But these aren't the things that excited Brian rather they are just an appetizer for him.
The first shock came when he came to know about the huge amount of academies. He earlier thought that the Gods are just the ones that existed on earth but he was terribly wrong. Academies can be treated as sects in a cultivation world but sophisticated.
The second shock came when Brian learnt that he will have to study and compete alongside the children of the Gods he knew back on earth. Some of the most prominent ones are Hercules- son of Zeus (Greek God), Ganesha- son of Shiva (Hindu God), Zhinu- daughter of Jade Emperor (Chinese God), Akiel- son of Lucifer (Christian God), Amenooshihomini- son of Amaterasu (Japanese Goddess), Magni- son of Thor (Norse God) and many more not mentioned in the book.
The last shock almost made Brian pass out. It was the cultivation of the Gods. It wasn't something like body tempering followed by your Qi Gathering, Foundation establishment, Golden Core and Nascent soul.
Instead, the baseline was directly stronger than that.
As soon as a Creature enters the black hole towards the Genesis plane. Something called as 'singularity' will be unlocked for that individual. The Singularity is present in every individual but not at all accessible without the baptism of Black Hole.
The book seems to have a lot of plot holes but Brian was sure that a book given by a God wouldn't have any irregularities. Either Shiva doesn't want him to know much or Brian himself is unable to comprehend what the book reads.
…
A few more days passed by…
Brian was still testing himself while sitting in the bubble and looking around the gigantic universe.
"Purple colour, no visible fluctuations, Seemingly medium-sized, No heat providing source nearby, No visible barrier…
It should be a low-grade mineral star having most of its rocky territory containing 'Naquadah' with at least 30% energy content" Brian directly judged the star with a glance at it and its surroundings.
It had become a nice pastime for him when he was bored reading the book again and again. He of course didn't read the entire book but just the parts which he felt had plotholes. He also tried to remember every commonly found metal on planets, its properties and the area it grows in.
Brian had also started his study on various creatures like hydra, druid, spiders which will be important for his future adventures.
.
.
.
On a certain day of his normal routine which include stargazing and reading the unnamed book, Brian finally got a breakthrough.
"Chapter 9 Page 9 6 0 6 8…"
"Chapter 6 page 69098…"
"Chapter 6 pages 6,9,0,98"
Brian started thinking out of the box. He had spent a lot of time reading the same topics again and again and got no results.
He started thinking of different pages having different words which combine to form a sentence. He didn't know if it was the right direction but anyways he had nothing to do so why not give it a try…
