Chapter 25

On the morning of the next day, Axel lazily got up from bed and went slowly towards the bathroom.

When he got there, he took off his pants, sat in the bath, and took his phone to check Twitter and any messages that he could have received in the night.

One of the first things that he saw was a message from Adam.

"Hey man, William and I are going to the Valhalla comic store this afternoon. They meet every week there to have a few friendly matches and exchange tips about world-building, and since you are starting to build your world, we thought that maybe you would be interested. Let me know if you are going to come when you decide. " Adam said in his message.

" Sure, it would be great to see other people's worlds to get some ideas and inspiration," Axel replied.

"Perfect, we will meet at my house at 4 PM. See you later. "

After that, Axel smiled and put his phone down.

He hasn't gone to Valhalla Comics in a long time. Since the appearance of world-building, places like comic stores have become a meeting point for those interested in that hobby, as a lot of people have taken inspiration from comics and novels to create their worlds.

So right now, world-building coexists with card and board games and is treated as another kind of game in this kind of store.

"Well, I should check my world and see if I can create a new add-on or something. I'm not far from the breakthrough towards rank 1, so I should try to find something that complements my other add-ons to have a good foundation in the next rank." Axel thought while pressing his temples with his fingers and closing his eyes.

In a few seconds, the aerial image of the ocean appeared in his mind. Looking around, he quickly found the islands where the three tribes were and inspected them for a time.

Axel thought, with a smile on his face, "That's what I wanted. Now you are truly advancing at a good pace."

Seeing how the three villages had grown both in size and in the number of people made Axel proud of his work, as his world had advanced a lot in a very short time.

"Well, it's not all my work, after all. The add-ons and subs that I bought helped a lot. My money, rather than my work, advanced my world, but because I used most of my savings, I must be cautious in what I do from now on."

Axel continued observing the people in his world for a while, thinking about what kind of add-on could work well with his current world.

After a while, he changed his surroundings and made the core of his world appear in front of him to check how the energy reserves were. But when he did that, he found something that he hadn't expected to see.

"What the hell? Why is there a new rune in the space that should be empty? Heaven, you know where this rune came from?" Axel was shocked after seeing the new rune and the core of the world shining with intensity.

Without losing a second, Heaven's voice answered inside Aiden's head.

"Greetings, Master. I don't have any information about that rune in particular. If you give me a few seconds, I can scan it to find out what its functions are." Heaven replied.

"Ok, go ahead."

After less than ten seconds, Heaven's voice started talking again.

"From what I can understand, the reason for the appearance of this rune is probably my fault."

"What? Did you create a rune?" Aiden asked without knowing how to react.

"Yes and no. This night, you said that I could do anything as long as I thought it would be beneficial for the world. One of the things I did was reincarnate a few souls into the world instead of letting them be absorbed. As they performed well in their second life and the cost of reintroducing them into the world was lower than creating new souls, I continued doing this and expanded the range of souls reincarnated little by little until every soul in the world had to go through me when they die, and it seems that my actions caused the core to naturally create a new add-on to help me optimize this process." Heaven explained everything to Axel.

"Wow, that sounds pretty interesting. And how are things going compared to before the creation of the add-on?" Axel asked curiously.

Heaven told Axel, "The energy consumption has decreased by more than sixteen percent, while the cultivators have been advancing more and more in the last generations. According to my calculations, we should be able to get the energy necessary to make the world breakthrough to rank 1 in less than forty-eight real-world hours."

"Wow, that's amazing," Axel replied. "Great work, Heaven. Keep it up. "

"Thank you, Master. Your praises are more than I can expect from doing my job. "

After hearing this, Axel couldn't help but smile. As he didn't have much more to do in his world, he opened his eyes and picked up his phone again.

A few minutes later, he came out of the bathroom and went to the kitchen to have breakfast, but when he got there, he found someone that he wasn't expecting to see at that moment.

"Good morning, son. Have you started searching for a job yet?" His mother asked while taking a few sips of her coffee.

Monday's extra chapter has arrived!

I bet nobody expected a chapter release today, and to summarize the reasons for this extra chapter, I will tell you that I wrote more than usual last week, so I decided to drop an extra chapter to speed up the story a bit. With this, I leave the possibility of publishing extra chapters on Mondays. I mean, don't expect this to become the norm, but when I find myself with more extra chapters than usual, I will publish some extra chapters from time to time.

And now, it's time for me to shamelessly ask you to leave a review or rate the novel so it can reach more people. You will waste no more than two minutes, and I will transform those reviews into motivation to write more and drop extra chapters more often, so I think it's a win-win situation for both of us.

With that said, I hope you liked the chapter and that you have a good week.

See you on Wednesday.
