Chapter 190

Axel continued looking at his world's core for a while as he thought about what to do next.

He has been expending a lot of energy lately, upgrading his add-ons and preventing the cultivation add-on split in two. Because of that, the core's shine had decreased to the point that he could only see a small light in its center.

"The energy reserves are at a minimum. Making significant changes on any add-on will be impossible, right, Heaven?" Axel asked.

"Correct. If the energy reserves decrease to half the current amount, some add-ons may reduce their functions or deactivate them completely." Heaven replied.

"That doesn't sound good," Axel said. "Maybe I should leave the add-ons for later and focus on guiding humanity to learn to use his current add-ons more efficiently."

Axel made his world's core disappear with a new plan to look at his world again.

'There are still a few functions on my add-ons that humanity has yet to use, so if I help them discover them, it could mean a significant boost to their power.' Axel thought.

Using Heaven, he could send messages to various groups or individuals with quests or orders to follow. With that, he would guide them in the direction he preferred.

'Wait, can't I do that with Heaven?' An idea suddenly crossed Axel's mind.

It had already happened that an add-on had developed a new function because of Heaven's doings. If he instructed her to do certain things related to any of the add-ons, wouldn't it evolve too?

So, if he instructed Heaven to act as if she were powerful demons that exchanged power and knowledge with their cultist, she may develop something related to that.

And even if, in the end, it doesn't develop, it will help the cultist grow, making them a threat to the tribes.

"Heaven, are you capable of seeing and understanding the techniques and investigations created by the cultivators?" Axel asked.

"Yes, I am," she replied.

"And would you be able to modify them?"

"It would take some time for high-rank techniques, but I could do it in exchange for an insignificant amount of energy." She replied.

"So, if I were to tell you to use all the techniques in the world as inspiration to create powerful techniques fueled with corruption, would you be able to do it?" He asked.

"Yes, I could do it," she replied.

"Perfect. Then, from now on, you will give missions and order the cults around to increase their power while giving some cultivation investigation or technique you will create as a reward. You could even reward them by increasing their cultivation level by force." Axel explained.

"How many techniques should I create?"

"I don't know. Create as much as you consider, but remember that you can give the same technique to many people; the better the reward, the bigger the merit necessary. I want them to try as hard as possible to get them."

"I will start right now," Heaven replied.

With that, the cultist should receive another boost to their power. Before he participated in the rift's clearing, the three tribes had sent large amounts of resources toward Sacro. The cults managed to steal some and used them to increase their member's strength.

Thanks to that, some of the cult leaders reached stage eight, with one nearing the breakthrough to the ninth stage.

With Heaven's help, more of their members should reach stage eight, and some even break through into the ninth stage. Some may even break through to the next rank with enough time.

And that would be the best thing that could happen.

After all, the only cultivator that has reached the next rank until now was Nathan. And while there were a few magical beasts that were on rank two, there were things that only cultivators could do, such as creating new techniques or creating powerful items.

'Should I do anything else? I guess that is enough for now. Tomorrow, after the core recovers some of its energy, I may be able to do some more changes to the add-ons, but for now, it would be better to wait and see how the modifications to the add-ons affected my world.' he thought.

After that, he broke his concentration and returned to the outside world to find himself lying in bed.

'Well, it is already late, and I'm here, so maybe I should just sleep.' He thought before closing his eyes again and falling to sleep.

Here is today's chapter.
