Flashback...
Gohan opened his eyes, quickly shutting them as a bright light blinded him as he carefully reopened them again. First first thing he noticed, he was definately not in his house anymore, if the large dunes of sand was anything to go by. Dry air blew sand into his face as he turned away, immediately bringing his attention to something else, a heavy weight on his hand. He turned towards the feeling, his heart dropping at the sight of Videl unconscious right next to him.
His heart sped up with anxiety as he desperately shook her up. He smiled as she gently opened her eyes, rising up from the sandy ground. She held her head as a pang rushed through suddenly. As it passed, she slowly got up noticing her surroundings for the first time.
"Gohan, where are we?" She asked urgently. n
"I don't know, but I don't feel anyone's Ki; not my parents, Piccolo, or anyone! But there is something below us, it's big and it's coming fast... Move Videl!" He yelled out as he and Videl took to the sky as fast as they could. Not even 3 seconds later, SOMETHING came out of the sand. A giant worm like creature that Gohan has never seen before with more teeth than he could count in a mouth that could easily swallow a small house whole, and it was rising towards them as they flew away from it. 50, 100, 150, it continued to rise as Gohan and Videl continued to fly away from it's mouth. Finally at nearly 300 feet in the sky, it started to descend back to the sand, digging deeper and disappearing from sight.
Videl was breathing heavily as Gohan continued to look out, trying to sense more of those things, but he quickly gasped in astonishment, and fear. In that area, there was HUNDREDS of similar Ki's like that giant worm. They were a little deep to attack so suddenly, but they were too close for his liking.
He heard Videl panting, trying to catch her breath as he flew towards her, picking her up to let her calm down. For hours he flew looking for a spot for them to rest; but nothing could be seen but a clear blue sky without a single cloud, rolling sands that stretched as far as he could see, and he felt the blistering heat that gradually slowed him down with exhaustion. Finally, a rocky terrain came into view, towering over the vast sandy dunes. Finding what he was hoping was there, he lowered Videl into a cave hidden on the side of the mountain before sitting on the hard ground.
"Gohan, do you think we'll be able to get out of here?" Videl asked, shivering slightly as the temperatures dropped from the lack of the sun that was quickly disappearing. Gohan held her close to warm her up.
"I don't know Videl, but I won't stop until I figure out a way. I'll make sure you and the baby are safe back home, one way or another." Gohan promised, placing a hand on her slightly bulged stomach, holding the 4 month old baby in her womb.

Present...
"Wait, Supreme Kai! You're the one that sent Gohan to that world?!" Goku asked in shock. Shin just nodded. He turned towards Gohan, noticing his hands opening and closing in agitation. Piccolo noticed as well, his eyes narrowing trying to read him.
"Well, you said that you were going to explain, so start please." Gohan asked, more like commanded in a form of a request as Shin gulped, knowing that what he says next was important for his life in the next few minutes.
"That world; that you quite appropriately named Tuat, was created over 200,000 years ago in our time. During that time humans were much stronger than they are now. Back then, they had the use of magic to their aid. It was limited, but a good amount of individuals that could use it, and it was powerful, people who could use such gifts were known as magicians. However, something happened." Shin started to explain as the others listened. When Shin saw he had their attention, he continued.
"100 individuals, what we call the Blood traitors, started slaughtering other magicians and innocents to increase their own magic through dark means. Gohan, here's a question."
"Yes?" Gohan asked.
"When you kill a beast in Tuat, what happens?"
"Well, other than being able to eat the flesh, if the creature was strong enough you can absorb it's Ki and essence... Wait, you're not saying..." Gohan trailed off as Shin nodded.
"Yes, they killed others to strengthen their own magic, and eventually take over the world as it's only rulers. We're not sure who instigated such a thing, but by the time we noticed, Earth was covered in a bloodbath. The 100 of them was much too powerful to deal with head on, and most of the other magicians were already dead. And so, with the help of the other Supreme Kai's, we created Tuat to trap the 100 rogues by luring them in with the remaining magicians that survived, which they agreed to!" Shin quickly explained noticing Goku's disapproving face.
"And eventually let them die by the beasts which were created to nearly be impervious to magic spells, but whoever is sent their has a near immortal life, which they can't commit suicide, nor can they kill each other, with a long life to make them think about their punishments ." Shin paused, looking at the four individuals.
"Okay, but there were people over there already, and what does this have to do with me and Videl being sent there?" Gohan asked again.
"As time moved on, I kept an eye on Tuat to make sure no one gets out, but I realized something. Some of the individuals, both the rogues and the magicians, managed to leave behind descendants, which we never anticipated. Gradually the population grew, and the seeds of evil which started the massacre on Earth was long dead. I knew someone needed to be sent to that world to help their civilization grow from what we left behind. And you were the perfect choice. You were smart enough to help grow their technology, and strong enough to survive there thanks to Goku. And I sensed that you were human enough to be able to use magic when I first met you all those years ago." Shin explained. Gohan's head was down, shadows covered his face, so it was hard to see his expression
"Tell me one last thing, why was Videl sent to?" Gohan asked his final question. Shin turned away in shame, while Goku and Piccolo looked in between the two.
"It was not on purpose. I never intended for her to go with you." Shin explained. Gohan grunted in acknowledgment, however his spear formed from his bracelet, appearing in his hand.
"Supreme Kai, I don't think you understand what it was you just stated." Gohan stated coldly, Gahiji shining bright and cold in his hand, pointed towards him.
"Gohan! What are you doing?" Goku asked as he stood in front of Shin.
"Father, he basically told me he sent me to that hell to clean up a mess they left behind, and that Videl and my child died for NO REASON WHEN THEY COULD BE ALIVE!" Gohan yelled out as he flew towards Shin, Gahiji ready in his hand, poised to strike. Goku stood his ground, ready to defend Shin from his son. Right before he went to deflect the spear, it stood still.
"Why are you not moving father?" Gohan asked, his body straight, but poised to move at any second.
"I know you're angry, but you shouldn't attack at the Supreme Kai like that, you know better!" Goku stated. Gohan just narrowed his eyes.
"Very well, I suppose that I'll just have to fight you too." Gohan stated simply as he suddenly surged forward.
