Reliable instinct

The night was rapidly nearing, and I was still looking for shelter. The smell of the smelly mammoth poop was very effective. No beast attacked me. As I was walking, it started to become very dark. Till that moment, I could see no more than ten meters before me. So I instinctively activated my mask. But that was a grave mistake. I totally forgot the mask would enhance my smell sense.

As soon as it appeared, my nose, which was, till now, turned off, was flooded by the fool smell of the poop. But this time, it was multiplied. I felt as if something had broken in me, and I fainted on the spot.
