It finally begins

The following months went by quickly. During those months, many things changed in the tribe. First, a rampart made of wood was erected all around the village. I was surprised by how quickly it was built. But I remembered I was in an orc tribe where each adult could easily move a hundred-year-old trunk. It was finished before winter.
