Desire to be strong (chapter 54)

Lucas opened his eyes wide in shock,for a second he thought he was dreaming but his heart was beating so loudly,the feeling of her soft lips on his was too real far from being a dream,Jennie was about to break the kiss when she felt Lucas held her chin,a taste was not enough for him,he kissed her passionately on her lips,his firm and soft lips kissed her greedily, Jennie returned the kiss with the same vigour but she wasn't experienced she would accidentally collide with his teeth but Lucas didn't mind,he enjoyed the kiss to the fullest,when Jennie felt like she was running out of air she broke the kiss,her face and ears red,her heart beating so hard as if she was having a heart attack,this was her first time sharing a kiss with someone willingly,she felt muddleheaded while gasping for air,Lucas stared at her as if he was staring at the most precious thing in the world,his eyes were gentle and tender filled with love,he felt a extremly happy after the kiss they shared,Jennie had used the same tactic as him to convey her love for him but she was bolder than him because she did it while she was sobber, words couldn't explain how happy and lucky he felt,after calming down Jennie lifted her head only to be meant with those gentle eyes staring at her,she felt her heart skip a bit and quickly she looked away shyly,a tud bit if red appering on her cheeks.

Seeing her get shy after boldly kissing him Lucas smiled "Jennie I love you....I do really love you" he said sincerity in his eyes,Jennie looked at him,the sincerity in his eyes and voice made her feel warmth spread all over her body,for the first time in her entire life she felt loved.Jennie wanted to reply but she didn't know what to say,Lucas understood her struggles "you don't have to say it,I just wanted you to know" he said,he didn't mind Jennie found it hard to say the word 'I love you',for now he was satisfied with the progress "so you're truly Damon?" she asked still find it hard to believe,she would have never imagined the person she had been looking for was with her all along "mmnn...at the right time you will know everything.....how did you know about Damon?" he asked curiously "well.....I once heard of him at a café...I got curious about him later I learnt he is someone who could help me.." she replied "help you to exact revenge?" Jennie was silent for a while then she nodded her head "Lucas.....I have a favour to ask" she said,Lucas looked at her his expression saying I'm listening "I want to become strong" she said shocking Lucas,Lucas stayed quite for a while before he asked "strong?" "Yes.....I don't want to be bullied ever again,I want to be strong mentally and physically...I want to be able to stand up for myself" "there is no need to worry....you have me now....no one will ever bully you as long as I'm here" "I know but I don't want to be a burden to you....I need this for myself" she said,if you're Damon I need to be able to fit in your world,I want to protect you,I want to stand next to you,I want to share your burden Jennie thought not daring to speak her mind.Lucas didn't know what she was thinking about,when Jennie said she wanted to be strong he thought it's because she wanted to get her revenge, revenge is only for the strong a weak person wouldn't do anything infact they might end up ruining themselves,one needs to be strong both mentally and physically,be able to have the guts to stomach anything,his guess was correct she wanted to be strong to exact revenge but she also had other reasons and he was the reason.

"Fine....it won't be easy but..... first take care of yourself once you have delivered the baby we can try..." he said massaging her hand, Jennie smiled "Jennie I know you want to exact revenge but now you just have to think about the baby.... I'll help you with anything you want even if you want to kill someone I'll kill them for you ... I'm willing to be your executioner " he said shocking Jennie,Jennie stared at him tears in her eyes,she was no longer alone,she was no longer the unloved and unfavoured,the laughing stock that everyone mocked and despised,she wasn't going to worry on how to raise her child,her child was no longer fatherless,now she had Lucas someone who cared and loved her, someone who was willing to do anything for her,someone who was going to help her reclaim her lost glory, someone who was going to fill the void in her heart and give her happiness she deserved,someone who was going to help her start a fresh,she felt lucy to have met him,out of no where he appeared in her life like a knight in shining armor.She stood up and hugged him tightly "thank you for everything" she said tears flowing on her cheeks "no need to say thanks....I got you" he said,after crying for a while she calmed down,staring in his eyes "I love you" she said,Lucas' heart skipped a bit,he was shocked after hearing her confessing,with a smile on his face "I love you more" he said.

At country X,Alice sat on the couch a glass of wine on her hand,she held a tablet on the other hand going through some details with a serious expression,there was a photo of a man old enough to be in his thirties,he looked handsome and kind.She had just arrived in the country after being on a vacation that her father had booked for her,the man was the one she and her father had talked about,he was her cup of tea but still she was in love with her ex and she wasn't ready for a new relationship,his birthday was soon arriving and after being nagged by her father for a couple of times she decided to attend the party,the plan was simple to catch his attention.
