"This place seems good," I said to myself while looking at the photos of Peony Jade at a travel brochure. The fancy interiors and the lively ambience there will make it a wholly unique and an intimate dining affair.
My lips curled into a smile. "She will definitely like this."
I'm currently here at my sister's house because I want to see my nephew. I also thought of asking for my sister's help but I suddenly get reluctant so I took back that plan.
"What are you looking at?"
I almost jumped out of my seat when someone spoke from behind. I quickly close the travel brochure and look at Athena who's giving me a curious glance.
I cleared my throat. "You scared the shit out of me. Why did you appear like an annoying mushroom?" I said in a creased forehead to hide the tense in my voice.
She shakes her head. "You're changing the topic."
I swallowed a lump when she got the same brochure that I was looking at earlier and flip the pages.
