116 Surreal

Kai just felt everything was so surreal.

To find out that the woman he was deeply in love with, was not what she seemed yet was, kind of blew his mind. 

It's like finding out your wife is a spy.

However, instead of wondering whether the Angel he knew was real or just an act, he had no doubt whatsoever that she is as what she appeared to be.

She had always been open with him, in the sense that she did not hide her feelings. He knew that she had some secrets but it did not mean that she was acting out a role. 

Even now, she had not held back in telling him everything that she had done to protect him when she covered his tracks. She worked seamlessly in the shadows, and her actions were a complement to his rather than a hindrance.

He thought of what she had told him before.

That she may not have the background to help him in business, but she could definitely be by his side and be his support.
