Battle II
When the fire of the maze forest caught on far too quickly. Sure, it is the onset of autumn, just before winter. So, all the flora is a little too dry, and a little too prone to catch fire, yet…
'This is too fast ' was the only thought in Rolland Huntsman's eyes.
The infantry has already been arrayed into six legions, all ready to rush into the maze, as soon as fire ebbs down even a little.
At this point, a set of colorful fireworks exploded from the burning maze. They formed an incredibly pretty picture of roses in the clouds.
The soldiers have never seen a sight such as that. For a moment, they were all enthralled in the fireworks.
The next moment, thuds of horse hooves sounded behind them.
The light cavalry, which escaped into the hills of the inner mountain range, was arrayed in three groups.
As soon as the fireworks exploded, they started their charge towards the infantry's back, with lances in their hands.
