Cosmic Cultivation

Year 2033 The time the game came out, the world was taken by storm. 'Realm of Immortals' changed things for everyone. It was a game where anyone can be anything, a villain, a prince in shining armor, or a blacksmith. It was the first full-dive game, a revolution to technology. But... the world of that game favours the strong, so all players are pumped up to play it with it's realistic feature; calling it a second world would not be far off. Silas, an extraordinary 19 year old man who works at a bank and buys the game to pass away time and have fun, finds himself as the weakest player inside the realistic cultivation MMO. He was mad, he was angry, he just wanted to have fun, even the NPCs in the game harass and make fun of him. What led to this... He couldn't use Qi... The energy which all cultivators use to grow stronger... He was about to quit the game, when a glitch happened, a dark force was able to infiltrate the system, and Silas found himself in a forbidden place which was hated by the heavens. There, he found his purpose, using an energy that was the opposite of Qi. He gave himself a mission, to change how things were in this so called heavens, and create a better world where everyone isn't always fighting for power. _____ TAGS:- Assasin, reincarnation, gods, cultivation, martial arts, smart MC, Weak to overpowered, villain, virtual reality, video games. ___ My other books; Vampire god in the apocalypse, Lord MMORPG: The demon progenitor. 10. Voidbane physique's power

Immediately Silas summoned the Nether in his hands, Juliet dashed forward with an angry expression and Silas just smiled in astonishment before dismissing it.

'What, she's just a kid!!' Harissa thought as she saw that Juliet's speed surpassed theirs and before they knew it, the little girl was already in front of them.

"Ooh no you don't. Earth splitter!!" Harissa thrusted her rapier and it suddenly became surrounded in pink aura and a all of a sudden, wind in the shape of a large cone blasted forward towards Juliet and as it came forward, the ground beneath as destroyed in a straight line as the cone of wind spun.

Juliet suddenly vanished with a black flash and appeared behind Harissa with her claws on fire.

She suddenly passed Harissa, scratching her thighs and arms and then she moved on to Citan who gritted his teeth as he saw that the people in front of him were not as ordinary as he thought.

Harissa couldn't move as she was badly injured with claws marks and she was in shock.

Citan gritted his teeth as he judged the individuals in front of him wrongly. But alas, he stepped into this situation by calling them back while they were walking away in peace.

He spun his spear fast, making it seem like he held a blue disc and then he waved it towards Juliet sending a wave of blue flames which was as thin as a blade towards her and she slid down, dodging it before suddenly appearing in front of him.

Citan was about to attack when he felt a heavy blow on his stomach and he fell in his knees and then another blow landed on his face.

Juliet was not done as she grabbed him by his collar and kept on punching his face again and again.

An image appeared in her mind. Her running away into a portal as she looked back and saw her master killed by cultivators.

"Juliet. That's enough." Silas said as he came from behind and she looked up to him and she left Citan before hugging Silas tightly.

Although Silas was shocked by the situation, he still hugged her back and then he touched Citan's forehead and at that moment his eyes widened as he felt a bit of his energy leave him and he retracted his hand quickly.

"The hell was that?" Silas mumbled and then Juliet mumbled; "Voidbane."

"Huh?" Silas was confused.

"Your physique. It plays a large role in hell as with it , you can destroy real cultivators powers and absorb as chi." Juliet explained.

"Your physique, whenever you touch a person a void will appear within them to destroy and devour their Qi core into nothingness." Juliet said and Silas was a little bit shocked.

"So that's why this gloves leaves space for the rest of the fingers." Silas said as in realization as he looked at the gloves in his hand.

He let go of Citan and he looked at the cultivator who has had his cultivation taken away from him.

"The power to destroy a person's cultivation from the roots is what struck fear in the heavens hundreds of thousands of years ago." Juliet explained and Silas made his way to Harissa.

He touched her forehead with his two fingers used to make a gun hand sign and then he touched her head too.

He felt a bit of power flow into his body and then he smiled as he stood up straight and walked away from the scene, deeper into the forest.

"What do you plan on doing?" Juliet asked as Silas walked deeper into the forest and he shrugged as he answered;

"I want to test the limits of the Physique." Silas said and they began hunting monsters.

After more than thirty minutes of monster hunting, Silas managed to cripple a lot of creatures and he nodded.

The voidbane physique created something similar to a black hole, then it rips apart the foundation of cultivation which is the core and then destroys it, he too was shocked with how everything turned out.

[Your assets has been evaluated. You are now the richest player in the game.]

[You are the first to ever acquire a celestial rank item. Do you wish to keep your identity anonymous?]

[Yes] | [No]

"Anonymous?" Silas was confused.

'What word is this now? I think no... Let's just click no and see what happens.' Silas thought.

Clicking the no button, a large announcement appeared in the sky while a robotic system voice said it to the other players.

...

[Congratulations, player 'Silas' is the first player to ever obtain a celestial grade item.]

[The leaderboards has been updated.]

[Attention! The wealth leather board has been updated.]

Seeing the notification pop up in front of them all the players were stunned, shocked, amazed, and in awe.

"What? A celestial grade item?!"

"Who is this guy?"

"How can he get a celestial grade item so early in the game?"

"The leather boards... No way!!"

"I see it too!! This player is at the top of the wealth leather boards."

"I've never even heard of his name until today."

"He's ranking number 25 in strength leather boards."

"This guy is a cheater, there's no way."

And that day, the entire player server heard of his name. Some referred to him as lucky, some referred to him as a cheater, but he was neither.

...

"I understand." Silas said as he looked at Juliet.

'The nether can increase my overall power temporarily, but I can get corrupted by it.' he thought with a frown.

'Getting corrupted by the nether, my emotions would be out of control and the dark energy would affect my mind greatly. I'm sure I'm not ready for anything like that.' he thought with a sigh.

On his waist was a belt which held a long sword and he drew it upon seeing a creature ahead.

"Ah. And... Master. Where did you learn how to fight?" Juliet asked and Silas froze in his steps as an image flashed of a younger him training amongst tens of people.

"I'll... Tell you another time. For now, let's just hunt." Silas said with a deeper and calmer tone and Juliet nodded, seeing that he didn't want to share his past right now.

Silas dashed towards the creature which had red fur. It's legs were small and it used it's large arms to support itself while running.

As it noticed Silas, it suddenly became agitated and it charged towards him with a leap and Silas smiled as he brandished his blade.
