"We left home quite late because Jody wanted to say goodbye to her friends," Liam explained, glancing at his sister who was bouncing on her toes impatiently.

"That's fine. You are here now." Aunt May beamed. "Come in now. I already prepared dinner." She clapped, throwing her arm around Jody's shoulder as she led the girl in, with Angela and Uncle Josh tagging behind.

"Oh!" Liam called out and they all turned to look at him. "Umm, I was gonna leave."

"What?" Both his aunt and uncle exclaimed.

"You will do no such thing. I can't let you return to Manhattan this late." Aunt May shook her head.

"I wasn't gonna go back there. I mean, I have a friend who stays here in Alabama. I was gonna spend the night at his place."
