Lindsey was nothing but a friend to him and there was no way anything could go on between them. In as much as he would love them to remain friends for a very long time, if it was going to harm his relationship with Stacia then he would end it immediately.

Anastacia smiled brightly at him when he said those words and he returned her smile.

"What did she say anyway?" She asked and Liam turned to face her squarely.

"Did you send some staff away recently?"

"Yes, I did." She frowned. "What about it?

"Why did you send them away?

"Well," she looked at her fingers. "They were being rude to me. I had to put them in their place."

"And does being rude to you entail looking you in the eyes?" Liam asked, reminding himself that it had been one of the silly rules she had given him when she became his boss.

"Well. . ." Anastacia bit her lips and Liam sighed.
