Chapter ５３

Alexia's POV

"Are you hungry?" Calvin didn't seem to want to talk about the subject. He kissed my hand and asked.

"Yes." As soon as I got up, there were only a few sandwiches and milk.

"Auntie cooked."

After lunch, I looked at the clock. It is afternoon. Today I have to go to the hospital to visit my mother. Besides, I'm going to Anni's. Andie said Anni had gone home.

"Are you going out?" Calvin came out of the study and frowned when he saw me walk out with a bag. "You just got home, didn't you?"

"I'm going to my mom's and then Annie's." I looked at Calvin.

"I'll walk with you!" Calvin walked over.

"No, I can go by myself!" I quickly declined.

"Don't you like me?" Calvin winked.

"Well, come on!" I am helpless.

Calvin then happily approached me and helped me carry the bag.

Calvin is driving alone, and my mother is delighted to see Calvin and me together. But she let Calvin go on purpose in order to tell me something.
