Chapter ３６

"Yes, you said he was your friend?" my mom thought for a while and then asked awkwardly. She has a very poor memory now, and many things are forgotten in the blink of an eye. The nurse explained to them that this is a result of the surgery and that she is slowly recovering.

"Mom, what do you think of him?" I couldn't help but feel guilty when I heard the ‘friend' word. I suddenly wanted to know what my mother thought of Calvin.

"Very handsome!" Florence smiled and looked me in the eye. "It looks like he likes you a lot!" Subconsciously, I wanted to explain my relationship with Calvin, but I immediately thought that I couldn't reveal the true relationship between me and him yet, so I kept my mouth shut, lowered my head, and pretended to be shy.

"Alexia,  go for him if you like him so you don't regret it in the future," said Florence tiredly.

"Mom?!" I looked up nervously, had my mother seen something? My mom smiled, her eyes were full of love.
