Chapter ３５

"No, no, I can't." I rejected her kindness.  My personality isn't suited for a live broadcast.

"Well, you're right. I'll tell you something. Angle is an illegitimate daughter! Her mother is not the Chairman's daughter. She was born to her father who had an affair. I don't know how she got the Chairman's favor, Okay, I'm hanging up now!" Andie hung up. After talking to Andie, I calmed down.

But my mind still thinking of Smith. Anyway, I'm not going to apologize to him. He didn't apologize to me for so many things that he did to me before!

"Still mad?" Calvin suddenly sent a message. I hesitated for a moment, not knowing if I should reply or not. There was a door between the two of us, no more than a few feet away, but it felt a little weird to have to talk like that.

"No," I had just sent the message when the doorbell rang. Calvin's voice sounded outside as well, "Can I come in?"

I suddenly got nervous again, "What's wrong?"
