Mia was stunned to hear that. She considered that Denis's feelings were much deeper than she thought after knowing that he had said he liked Faye many times. She asked why Faye didn't end their contract marriage, and date officially.
"Whoa, whoa, hold your horses. I said I like him, it doesn't mean we 'have' to date," said Faye.
"If I were you, the status of the contract marriage would no longer be valid," said Mia, "Seriously, I'm surprised you still don't realize how Denis feels."
"He always gives me mixed signals, Mia. Sometimes I can see how serious he is, soon he thinks what he's saying is just a joke," said Faye casually.
Mia understands that Faye is confused if Denis gives a signal between being interested and not, "Have you talked about this?"
