20 Sweat and Tears

As he sat in his bedroom, Chronos couldn't help but reminisce about the past three years of his life.

Chronos turned his gaze towards the Gravitational Chamber, an imposing metal structure in the corner of his room.

It reminded him of all the hours he had spent pushing himself to the limit, both physically and mentally.

The increased gravity had made every movement an arduous task, yet he had persisted, determined to become stronger.

Through sweat and tears, he had honed his Tai Chi and weight training, his body screaming for mercy with each grueling session.

But he refused to give up, for he knew that he had been given a second shot at life and he would not waste it.

He turned to the Dimensium Blade, an iridescent dark black-purple blade hovering by his side, a testament to his dimensional energy control.

He remembered the sweat that poured down his face as he practiced psychokinesis, lifting weights with the sheer force of his will and hours upon hours of target practice to increase his accuracy.

He could feel the weight of the Dimensium Blade hovering around him, which he kept by his side at every waking moment.

Chronos figured the quickest route to mastery was to always be manipulating dimensional energy.

Beyond the blade, two swords perched on the wall caught his attention, a symbol of his training to become ambidextrous.

He had started with the simple exercise of drawing shapes with each hand simultaneously, gradually moving on to practicing different sword arts on each hand.

The intense concentration and coordination required to command independent movements concurrently had forced his mind and body to attune to perfect harmony.

But his training wasn't solely focused on physical prowess.

Chronos had also spent countless hours studying the new world he found himself in, determined to understand its politics, cultures, and technologies.

He pored over books and documents, his thirst for knowledge unquenchable.

Chronos knew that he had been given a second chance at life, a chance that many did not get.

And he was determined not to waste it.

He was driven by a deep-seated desire to protect those he loved, his new family, from the dangers that loomed.

He knew that he was not yet so invincible that he could not protect everyone.

Far from it...

But he was determined to do everything in his power to keep them safe.

He had seen the darkness that lurked in the shadows, reminded every night as the embrace of death accompanied his sleep.

He was constantly reminded of the horrors that awaited those who were not strong enough to face them.

And he was determined to be strong enough to protect those he loved, to face the dangers that loomed.

Buzz… Buzz… Buzz…

Chronos' communication watch started beeping insistently, pulling his attention away.

He pressed his index finger down onto his wrist and a holographic display started shimmering to life in front of him.

A three-dimensional image of Sister Sophia materialized above his watch, her features crisp and clear despite the distance between them.

" Can you hear me? Good morning baby brother…"

she said, her voice slightly distorted by the interference of the transmission.

" Morning Sophia, I'm about to get ready for our morning tuition…"

Chronos replied, still impressed by the stunning detail of the holographic projection technology on his wrist.

" About that… I have an urgent meeting at the Astral Merchants Association, but I have commissioned a renowned researcher from the University of Astral Knights to tutor you today!"

Sophia said proudly with a grin, perceptibly fishing for praise.

" A UAK researcher? Thanks Sophia, what's his or her field of research?"

Chronos asked gratefully.

It was the first time that he would be studying under someone outside the Royal Family.

" Senior researcher Dolus is on the forefront of psychokinesis research, I know you've been working with flying daggers the past year…"

Sophia replied with a sweet smile.

Before I could say anything else, the doors to my room slid open, and a voluptuous maid burst in.

Her ample curves threatened to burst through the tight bodice of her dress.

Her heaving bosom and flushed cheeks were the first things to catch the eye, but it was the urgency in her voice that demanded attention.

" Your Highness... Young Master..."

Hathor cried, her voice breathless and slightly frustrated.

"There's a short grumpy old man and a fat kid in your study room demanding to see you! Shall I have him thrown out?"

Hathor said, her voice frustrated.

Sophia's voice rang from the Comms Watch.

" Senior Researcher Dolus is an erratic old man, but is a genius in his own rights, do ignore his… quirkiness…"

"Oh… I've got to go too, enjoy your session! Maybe we can have lunch later,"

Sophia disconnected the holographic transmission before I could even reply.

Before he could say anything else, Sister Sophia disconnected the holographic transmission.

Hathor stood there meekly, the sudden awareness of her rudeness of rushing in unannounced seeming to have settled in.

"At ease, it's my tutor for the day, wait for me outside while I get changed…"

Chronos reassured her with a smile.

"Hehe… Your Highness, I can help dress you, you know…"

Hathor's alluring sultry voice echoed as she winked cheekily.

Chronos let out a knowing grin.

After having spent three years with this temptress, he finally had her figured out.

Beneath her seductive demeanor, tight revealing clothing and her succubi persona was actually a mischievous but shy girl.

She used her stunning looks and alluring figure to scare off and manipulate those around her.

But as the years went by, Chronos caught onto the subtle changes in her expression and blushing cheeks whenever he teased her back.

Letting out a grin...

Chronos walked calmly toward her...

He grabbed her by the chin and whispered into her right ear,

" Patience my little tease, even though I have the body of a 12 year old now, I'm only three years old… as soon as I'm of age I'll…"

He lightly blew onto her ear before completing his sentence.

A shiver ran down Hathor's spine, and she let out a light gasp.

Hathor's face flushed a deep shade of red, and she clutched at her chest, trying to steady her racing heart.

She attempted to look away, but Chronos locked eyes with her seductively, drawing her in like a moth to a flame.

Chronos smirked, clearly enjoying Hathor's reaction to his teasing.

"You're so cute when you blush,"

He murmured with a low and husky voice, his youthfulness restricting the depth of his tone.

Hathor's cheeks grew even hotter, and she turned to leave, her heart pounding in her chest.

She stumbled over her own feet, nearly tripping as she made her way across the room, her eyes fixed on the floor.

"I… I'll wait for you… outside…"

She said in a panicked voice as she hastily shut the door behind her.
