Chapter Thirty-Six

Hekate looked at Apollo who stared unblinkingly at where the voice had come from. She turned to see Cassandra who stood partially hidden behind one of the doors, as though it would hide her from the courtyard full of gods. What was she doing?

"Aah, Cassandra the Seerer of Troy," Hermes' face broke out in a smile, "Come join us," he went to the door and gently ushered her out to the courtyard. His eyes found Apollos and they sparkled with mischief. Hekate could feel Kate bristle, she hated when the gods played with mortals and Hermes was one god who loved to play with them.
