Coming of the Apocalypse Queen

In the year 2XXX, a blue meteor from outer space landed on Earth and signaled the dawn of the apocalypse. More than 60% of the population was wiped out by a mysterious disease. Plants and animals turned into mutants. People gained powers and abilities. The world and the government collapsed and turned into a world where only the strong is respected while the weak are doomed to die. Lilian Mo didn't have a good life during the apocalypse. She was reduced to being a possession of her fiancé and became his glorified bed warmer. He kept her locked up in his villa and rarely allowed her to go out, keeping her around as his pet that he took care of. Though it was considered a luxury to be able to eat three times a day and drink clean water in the apocalypse when all the water sources are contaminated, Lilian Mo sneered at this kind of life and escaped her confinement meeting people along the way and gaining an ability on her own. She found 'friends' during her journey and fought alongside them through life and death, only to be betrayed by them. Lilian Mo died tragically when she was pushed to a group of mutant animals by her so-called 'friend' whom she treated as a sister. When it seemed like everything was going to end for her, she opened her eyes and went back to her sixteen-year-old body, two months before the apocalypse. "The heavens have not forsaken me." Lilian Mo swore to grow stronger and take revenge on those that betrayed her trust. Lucky for her, she was reborn with the knowledge of the future and given her own special dimension. Her golden cheats allowed her to sail through the apocalypse without worrying about food or water. After waking up two months before the apocalypse, Lilian Mo decided to set her eyes on the people that wronged her. ▪▪▪ A story about a girl's journey to becoming stronger while trying to survive in the apocalyptic world and facing the man of her past. ▪▪▪ Reminding my readers that this book's rating is [No One 17 And Under Allowed] which means it contains mature content not suitable for young readers. Read at your own discretion. This also includes gore, violence, abuse, and explicit content because the setting is an apocalyptic world. The MC is a heartless person who kills without hesitation but has a soft spot for the people she cares about. If this bothers you, feel free to drop the book. There are no major misunderstandings between the characters. Face slapping is reduced to a minimum and there are no exaggerated or draggy arguments. I only write happy endings ;) This is pure fiction. Don't expect it to be realistic. My third language is English--hoping that the Grammar Nazis would be gentle with me Cover photo not mine. I only edited it.

We Aren't A Charity Group

"Yes..." Lilian Mo went to store the Marauder away even though for some reason, she felt uneasy walking in such a large group but it was also not a good idea to charge through the road while people were blocking the way.

That was pretty inhuman since the group of four hadn't done anything towards them.

She told herself that it was best to conceal themselves. Most of the members in the team were still weak and maintaining a low profile will help them avoid conflict.

Lilian Mo and the others walked for a few minutes and the noise got louder than before.

By the time Lilian Mo and the others arrived, the people were still quarreling.

They only stopped when they noticed that there was a group heading towards them. Min Mingye tensed and so did Xia Meimei and Xia Chenxue.

"Who are you, people?" Min Mingye asked while the two sisters kept their mouths shuts. Xia Meimei narrowed her eyes at the new group who arrived, noticing their lack of supplies, and immediately became even more vigilant.

She hid her sister behind her.

It was also not unnoticed by her that the group of people were very clean and tidy. They did not look like they were suffering under the harsh conditions of the apocalypse which signified that these people were quite capable.

Mu Qianmo smiled. "We're only passing through. We're not here to bother you guys." And just as he said that his group had walked over, ignoring the three people and one child.

Xia Meimei did not believe this as she observed the people, thinking that they might just be fooling them so that they would let their guard down. But this also allowed her to notice that the group had a lot of young people as members and only two of them seemed to be in their 20s.

Perhaps, some of the members of the group were ability users which were why they could survive until now and be able to maintain their good appearances.

She caught sight of a blonde man with European features and was dazed for a few seconds. It was rare to see a foreigner around but Xia Meimei who had her sister to worry about it didn't have the time to be infatuated with a pretty boy.

Xia Chenxue also noticed this, her face blushing as she gazed at the handsome blonde.

She placed a hand over her heart that was beginning to beat fast, noticing that her cheeks had also warmed.

'Ah! How could someone be so handsome!' Xia Chenxue thought, her eyes trained on the blonde.

Lin Jiaojiao grabbed onto Lilian Mo's arm and whispered. "Big sister Mo, is it okay to leave that child alone?"

Is it okay? It was a very difficult question to answer. Lilian Mo placed a hand on the girl's head. "We aren't a charity group..."

Lin Jiaojiao frowned as she curiously glanced at the child who was wearing a hood.

"Momo, this child feels odd." Mu Qingqing whispered as they walked calmly, her sixth sense telling her that there was something wrong. The child had raised their head and was staring at their group.

"Hey, kid. What are you looking at? Don't tell me that you're going to ask them for help? They all look like a bunch of kids. That group also expressed that they weren't interested in our business. You've already given me the crystal core so my group will do their best to help you." Min Mingye said as he waved the crystal core in the air.

The child stared at him for a second and jumped upwards, snatching the crystal core away from him.

"Hey!" Min Mingye yelped when the kid ran off and headed towards the departing group.
