Coming of the Apocalypse Queen

In the year 2XXX, a blue meteor from outer space landed on Earth and signaled the dawn of the apocalypse. More than 60% of the population was wiped out by a mysterious disease. Plants and animals turned into mutants. People gained powers and abilities. The world and the government collapsed and turned into a world where only the strong is respected while the weak are doomed to die. Lilian Mo didn't have a good life during the apocalypse. She was reduced to being a possession of her fiancé and became his glorified bed warmer. He kept her locked up in his villa and rarely allowed her to go out, keeping her around as his pet that he took care of. Though it was considered a luxury to be able to eat three times a day and drink clean water in the apocalypse when all the water sources are contaminated, Lilian Mo sneered at this kind of life and escaped her confinement meeting people along the way and gaining an ability on her own. She found 'friends' during her journey and fought alongside them through life and death, only to be betrayed by them. Lilian Mo died tragically when she was pushed to a group of mutant animals by her so-called 'friend' whom she treated as a sister. When it seemed like everything was going to end for her, she opened her eyes and went back to her sixteen-year-old body, two months before the apocalypse. "The heavens have not forsaken me." Lilian Mo swore to grow stronger and take revenge on those that betrayed her trust. Lucky for her, she was reborn with the knowledge of the future and given her own special dimension. Her golden cheats allowed her to sail through the apocalypse without worrying about food or water. After waking up two months before the apocalypse, Lilian Mo decided to set her eyes on the people that wronged her. ▪▪▪ A story about a girl's journey to becoming stronger while trying to survive in the apocalyptic world and facing the man of her past. ▪▪▪ Reminding my readers that this book's rating is [No One 17 And Under Allowed] which means it contains mature content not suitable for young readers. Tied To Me

Lilian Mo decided that she wouldn't dwell much on it. Overthinking was not her style and though she tends to get emotional at times, Lilian Mo has a clear goal in mind.

Lu Jingren has been found and while she was truly tempted to off him, she did not want to deal with all the trouble that her actions would cause her.

Lin Fang was also found out. With him around, Lilian Mo wasn't as worried. However, there was still Nathan Yang, that scheming bastard.

Lilian Mo was also quite curious about this 'Uncle' of hers and this individual named Zhou Yang.

She would know how to deal with them once she meets them.

"Lu Jingren." Lilian Mo called out.

Lu Jingren raised his head to look at her. He noticed that her face was quite serene at the moment which prompted him to calm down.

"You won't tell anyone about this place, right?" Lilian Mo said, taking a step closer.

"Right?"

"...."

Lu Jingren silently agreed. After seeing how threatening she was being, he wisely adhered lest she decides to come after him again.

Lilian Mo looked at this man one more time and thought that he really didn't look like the man of her past who was assertive and always aggressive.

Lilian Mo took a deep breath.

In the end, she ran towards him and touched his shoulder.

In the blink of an eye, two people disappeared and reappeared at another place and time.

"What on earth..." When Lilian Mo opened her eyes, she expected to find herself at the base but to her surprise, they were in a room.

Lu Jingren wasn't as confused as her. This was the room at the hotel where he remembered passing out.

His bloody clothes were still lying somewhere and he didn't touch them anymore. At the table was a bowl of rotting strawberries. Judging from its current state and the smell, it must have been there atleast a day or two.

"We are at the hotel..."

"Yes..." Lu Jingren noticed that her current expression didn't look good. When humans make that kind of face, they are usually worried or confused about something.

"Is there something I should know?" He asked her.

"The others are no longer here. They're at the base, northwest from here." Lilian Mo quickly supplied as she went to the windows and opened them, looking outside.

It was daytime judging from the sweltering hot weather outside.

Noticing that there were some people from the military outside, Lilian Mo calmed down. She saw that there were several people carrying things over.

It must have been the solar generator that they had dismantled. She also saw them carrying some kitchen equipment over.

There were more vehicles compared to before. Perhaps they needed more manpower after finding out that there is a lot of good stuff here.

"The military is still here. We have been away for atleast two days. When you disappeared, these guys came over to dismantle the solar generator on the rooftop. We met a few people and ended up heading to the base after planning to look for you. Everyone's condition was not looking good so we decided that we would begin the search once we've found a safe refuge."

Lilian Mo told the rest of the events that had transpired to Lu Jingren.

"I see."

"..."

What a meaningful response.

"But, it is still unexplained how we ended up here when I lost consciousness at the base."

"Maybe it's because of me. I suggest doing an experiment." Lu Jingren said.

"An experiment?" Lilian Mo repeated. She thought about it and decided that it wouldn't be so bad. So many confusing things were happening at once and if she did not try to find answers for herself, she'd be clueless.

Being ignorant and naive was a weakness in the apocalypse. Sometimes, knowledge is a different kind of power on its own.

"Hm. I agree. Please go to another room or location. I will enter the space and see if I would end up here or to the place where you are at."

"..."

Instead of answering, Lu Jingren walked out and quietly left the room. This was his personality. He wasn't the type to argue when it came to things like this.

Lilian Mo who saw his disappearing back felt a bit nostalgic.

He was like this as well.

"Jingren, I'll wait for you so come back home soon, okay?"

Lilian Mo would say the same line over and over again everytime he left. There was no overly intimate or affectionate interaction when this happened. He'd simply nod at her, put his hands on his pockets then walk away as if he wasn't out to risk his life once more.

It drove Lilian Mo crazy.

Now...

Things were no longer the same. She watched Lu Jingren disappear from the room and move to another place

She closed her eyes and waited a few more minutes before entering her space.

When she opened her eyes, she saw the clear blue sky without the sun or clouds.

Lilian Mo crouched down, her head hung low.

"How frustrating."

She was being too emotional. She needed to get her mind back in the game. Lilian Mo was not dense. She knew that her emotions were clouding her judgment.

Forgetting is not easy. It also doesn't happen easily.

Lilian Mo stood straight again, then, in a flash, her body disappeared and reappeared at another location.

The first thing she saw was a pair of oceanic blue eyes.

Lu Jingren smiled mysteriously.

"This makes you tied to me, Lilian."
