Nathan Yang evaded it by jumping backward with haste. He raised his hands in surrender.

"Easy there, no need to get violent."

Lilian Mo wanted to be violent. This man was really infuriating!

By the time Mizuki Rei and Fu Yangzhu had calmed down, they were both detained by military personnel and were passed out on the ground from overexhaustion. Mu Qianmo sighed with a heavy heart. No matter, he was still one person and could not fully control these two friends of his.

He was the group's babysitter but even a person like him was not omnipotent and would have a hard time dealing with two rebellious teenagers.

The girls calmed down a little but they couldn't help but look at Nathan Yang with displeasure. They were all tempted to give him a punch or two, much like what Lilian Mo attempted to do.

"Big sister, are you going to be okay?" Zhang Youji asked Lin Jiaojiao. His small face was filled with worry because he could hear the erratic thoughts of the big sister in front of him.

"Big sister, Big sister... You're not alone. I'm here with you." Zhang Youji said as he held Lin Jiaojiao's hand tightly.

"Oh... I'm sorry. Big sister was just being anxious." Lin Jiaojiao was not good at lying but she still pretended to be okay.

"I'm sorry about that. Yang didn't tell me that you were all guests of the General so I carelessly said those things. I hope you kids aren't too mad?" Lu Yi was sincere with his words and was very apologetic. Ah... seeing such a good and honest man was truly a relief in these troubled times so the girls were not as angry.

Lilian Mo also calmed down a bit but she did not forget to give Nathan Yang a glare.

"Mr. Yi, I would like to know how the accommodations for each people are arranged since my group might be staying for a while."

"Yes, about this. Once you have handed over 1/10 of your supplies, the base will automatically arrange a place for you to stay. Each room has at least one bed and a bathroom. Of course, you can stay in one place as a group or live separately because there are dormitories. I don't recommend living alone though because it's still best to stay with your group. It's much safer to be surrounded by familiar people." Lu Yi coughed as he glanced at Nathan Yang.

"But since you are the General's little niece, you won't be treated badly. If you want better rooms, they can be obtained through food or trade. Have you heard of crystal cores? Those things can be obtained from mutants and they can be used to trade for supplies and many other things. There is a small market in Section 2. You kids can go check it out once you've settled in. You all look tired so I won't bore you with my lecture. Yang here will guide you. If you have any other questions, feel free to ask him. Although Yang might look mean, he is a good person." Lu Yi smiled warmly at them. It was the kind of smile that reminded them of a kind old uncle from the street who would give free treats to little kids.

After obtaining the information they wanted, Lilian Mo nodded and murmured a soft 'thank you.'

Nathan Yang shrugged. He guided them to another area where the registration booth was. There was a middle-aged woman by the reception and her smile was just as warm as Lu Yi.

"Hello there. Welcome to the base. Are you youngsters here to register?"

"Sister Qin." Nathan Yang said, catching the attention of the woman.

"Ah! It's Xiao Yang. Your little brother was just here last night, pestering people. He kept asking when you are going to come back."

Nathan Yang's usually stoic face broke. This was the second time he heard the news of his brother so he was a bit worried.

"Sorry, Sister Qin. I'll talk to Little Zhou later."

"Oh, it's fine! It's good to see kids being so energetic!" Sister Qin said with a bashful and excited face then, she returned to her senses and looked over Lilian Mo's group.

"You girls look really well. But what happened to these two boys?" Sister Qin was gesturing to Mizuki Rei and Fu Yangzhu who were both being carried over. Mu Qianmo was embarrassed for them.

"I'm sorry. They were tired... We run into some trouble before and didn't have the time to rest."

"Brother Qian, you also look tired so I'll help you carry Reirei!" Mu Qingqing pulled Mizuki Rei to her side and supported him with ease. She draped one of his hands on her shoulders and placed her hand on his waist.

"Oh my, this little girl is very strong!" Sister Qin was very impressed. No doubt this small little girl must be a strength ability user. There were many of them in the base so it wasn't a surprise to see this anymore.

Still, this girl's appearance was really cute which was not that bad to look at. Sister Qin's mood began to improve.

"Sister Qin, please help them register quickly. They still haven't slept since last night so I'll have to trouble you in rushing the procedures."
