I'm An Only Child

The people who had been chattering were stunned when the buckets filled with fuel disappeared into thin air. Even those that had remained silent were dumbfounded by what they saw.

Lilian Mo became curious. Have they never seen an ability before? After all, it was almost two months since the apocalypse started. There were bound to be awakened ability users roaming around, either alone or in groups.

Seeing their reactions, Lilian Mo began to doubt but she quickly straightened her thoughts. She walked over a metal railing and pulled it cleanly from the cemented ground as if she was simply pulling a wild weed.

With her extraordinary physique after achieving Level five and harnessing the benefits of the spring water, her body was now comparable to a Level three strength ability user, four at most if she really tried.

Lilian Mo used her hands to nonchalantly bend the metal into a u shape as if she was handling clay. Then she raised it and smiled at the shocked gazes of the surrounding survivors.

"The next one that annoys me will be metal rod no.2."

She threw the u-shaped metal on the ground before a cold look occupied her face. She was already naturally aloof and distant. Her coldness right now made her seem like an ice queen, not to mention her face was pretty and she was wearing clean clothes. She somehow looked like a model as she stood there with a threatening stance.

The hotheaded teenager blanched. He was terrified.

He initially thought that this chick was just a pretty face but what was up with that herculean strength?

When he saw how skinny and young Lilian Mo was, he thought he would be able to scare her into submission. Boi, was he wrong. He hadn't expected her to be so fearless and unimpressed, and to display a formidable ability.

Moreover, the teenager wasn't the only one who felt scared and intimidated. The others were suddenly looking at Lilian Mo like she was some kind of monster.

Lilian Mo turned to leave, achieving what she wanted. She feared that the longer she stayed, the higher the possibility that she might act on her impulse to kill. She had restrained a lot since she was with Mu Qingqing and Mizuki Rei. She did not want to show those two the darkest part of her.

Now that she was alone, Lilian Mo could not trust herself not to kill people since no one she cared about was watching.

When Yang Cui saw that Lilian Mo was intent on leaving, she rushed over and went to grab Lilian Mo's arm. She was scared with the girl's strength but Yang Cui was also desperate. Since Lilian Mo was formidable on her own, it would also not be a loss if Yang Cui were to tag along with her.

Lilian Mo was swift. She moved to the side in a flash which made Yang Cui grab nothing but air.

Yang Cui felt awkward and embarrassed as her hands remained frozen in mid-air. Lilian Mo slowly glanced at her with an unreadable expression on her face.

"Don't leave. Knowing that you're strong, are you really going to remain heartless and leave all these good people alone? What happened to the moral integrity of the youth these days? As a senior, I am deeply disappointed!" Yang Cui exaggerated as she tried to incite the rest of the survivors to act up against Lilian Mo once again.

After witnessing her strength, Feng Ran was just as desperate. If she gained the protection of this youngster, she'd be able to leave this place and ensure safety against those vile mutants! She did not believe that this girl could be totally heartless.

Moreover, Feng Ran was sure that if she were to act like a doting sister to the girl, the girl would be fooled and she'd be under Feng Ran's control.

With Feng Ran's pretty face and delicate makeup, she was sure that she could dupe this girl with her looks and demeanor.

It did not cross Feng Ran's mind that she had been rejected by this girl two times in a row already. The only thing in Feng Ran's mind right now was securing a shield to protect her life.

Lilian Mo was unimpressed. If she really wanted to see something beautiful, she only needed to look at a mirror to do so.

Feng Ran bit her lip and rushed forward, completely oblivious to Lilian Mo's detached attitude. "Wait. 'Little sister,' I beg of you. I hope you can find it in your heart to save these people. Most of the people here are weak from the cold and can't deal with those scary monsters on their own. I hope you can save us. I'm sincerely begging you, Little sister."

Lilian Mo sneered inside. "Who is your sister? I don't have a sister. I'm an only child." She felt ridiculous saying this when Mizuki Rei said the same thing to her when Lilian Mo was playing with him.

Feng Ran didn't think that this girl would continue to not give her face.

She had already humbled herself by asking so nicely every time. What more could this girl want?!
