Comeet Legacy

[Hello, Levi] The synthetic, automated voice came again. Born a sickling and grew that way, Levi was never ready to bear the consequences and responsibilities of being the host to the construct that burrowed into his neck. Not only did it cure him from his lethal illness, it also granted him extreme abilities. With schemes and lies holding up what's left of the planet, Levi has to suffer loss, anger and betrayal in his endeavour to avenge the murder of his father. But the system doesn't only want Levi to satisfy his own anger-driven desires. It wants Levi to save the remaining population from another Ròkks raid and build a new civilization. What happens when this new intergalactic civilization start falling apart for the same reasons that once pushed him? How much more people—or rather, sentients of different anatomy—lose their lives before balance is restored? //: Every tag is or will be present in the novel:\\

Jamie's foot was heavy on the accelerator, and the Humvee's engine roared in response. They all staggered in their seats as soon as the vehicle's bumper met the fence.

However, due to the shield masked by the Humvee, it didn't slow down, nor did its speed fluctuate. The fence snapped like a rubber band, and the sound of stretched steel stung the air, accompanied by the rumbling sound of the tyres as it burst through the securitized landscape. Now, it was headed towards the main building.

Energy blasts and beams released by additional troopers struck the sides of the speeding vehicle, but its rampaging speed made it difficult to land a direct hit and inflict significant damage.

Jamie didn't lift her feet off the accelerator and the vehicle's momentum didn't falter either. The tyres also picked up dust as it drove straight ahead to the wall of The Source.

Levi could see the grey wall come closer and a few seconds later, there was a deafening crash.
