Fight

The rest were lucky to have evaded another tentacle that landed, aiming for them.

Levi quickly sprinted across, sizing the large creature. Eight tentacles he could count and one fat head, was this how regenerated creatures looked like? 

Box struggled from the grip of the creature as it also controlled its other arms in attack to the rest. Quickly, Abby rose to the air, fully ignited with sparks, shot straight at it, but it was stunned for only a few seconds. 

Box finally unleashed himself with a burst of his fire powers, taking down one tentacle. Brody raised the debris and rubble of the jet and directed it at the creature, injuring it with multiple stabs.

It didn't stay down, it lunged at them, its tentacles having undepictable movements.

"Alright Lexi, this is the perfect way to train wouldn't it?" Levi asked, itching to get into the fight.

[Perfect time, Levi]

Levi raised both hands and they glew with blue flames. "Hell yeah! Let's do this!" 

Box was ruthless, he flew around the creature, sending hot balls of fire at it. A tentacle caught up with him, but Box held it mid-air, and with his fiery hands clenched to it, the tentacle popped and exploded, spilling purple liquid on him.

The creature groaned in pain as Abby drove through it with her body charged, causing a huge cavity in it. But it didn't fall, it still attacked.

Three more tentacles blossomed from the spot Box had harmed. The creature spun around quickly in a circular motion, slamming Brody in his midsection. Levi charged forward with his hands flaming with Azure, he punched the creature right to the head. There was a sonic sound right after the punch, the head of the creature grew extremely large before it bursted, spilling its purple contents on them.

Levi felt his knuckles hurt! That was awesome! He wiped the purple liquid off his face and looked around his colleagues. Brody seemed fine, he was getting up. They looked at themselves and started to chuckle and laugh, swabbing the yucky liquid from their uniforms.

The ground rumbled again. 

Ten thin legs sprang up from underneath, followed by a reptile-like spider body. 

"Ah...fuck me," Levi mouthed.

From behind, the ground shook again and this time, the dust formed humanoid creatures, about a thousand of them.

The team came together with their backs. They couldn't take on this amount of regenerated creatures at once! The spider shrieked and attacked, stabbing its legs to the ground in a bid to kill them. 

The academics rolled to their sides, dodging the attack and picking which batch to fight. 

Brody and Abby charged towards the uncountable humanoid creatures while Box and Levi focused on the huge spider. Unlike Box, Levi couldn't fly, the chances of being stomped by those legs were high. 

The spider was surprisingly fast for its size, flinging its legs around, causing an impossible target for Levi to hit his Azure and Box to fire his flames.

Abby and Brody were doing alright, those lower grade creatures were not much of a fight. But their numbers were frightening.

Levi felt a sharp pain to his chest as the spider struck a leg to him. The leg must have had tiny spikes because Levi felt it pierce his skin. He checked himself as the pain vanished, he was okay. Must have been his transfigured body, was he invulnerable?

He lunged again at it, leaping as high as he could and hanging on its body. That was good enough to give an opening for Box to fire. The creature fell to the ground immediately Box had hit it, squashing itself on Levi who was at his back. 

Levi once again felt the extreme pain vanish as the huge spider rolled over him, revealing Box who was landing, fully ignited with fire. It was too late, Box hit Levi with the streak of flames. As he came to realise, the spider seized the opportunity and smacked him with its abdomen.

Levi felt the pain of burns on his face, that really hurt. He tried to get up but the spider hit him again with another fling of its thin legs. 

[Three minutes left to end our merge Levi]

"No, no, you can't," Levi muttered, panting hard. His uniform was burnt. "Why don't you take over?" Levi asked.

[I'm sorry but I can't, you are already weak for that] 

Levi sighed with pain and got to his feet, his gaze settled on the grey disgusting creature. Box was still down and hurt. Levi gave a short glance at Abby and Brody, the tables were turning on them, things didn't seem handled.

"Alright," Levi said. "What did you say about Limbs Transfiguration?" 

[Anything you can imagine, your limbs can form]

Levi smirked, "Is that so?" He stretched forth his right arm, it slowly transformed into a huge sharp blade. "Now that's cool," he lunged forward straight at the creature. The spider welcomed him with a shriek and a poise.

The spider was the first to make an attack, it moved with speed and snapped its mandibles at Levi. Levi slid under it, slicing the belly with his bladed arm, purple liquid squirting out.

The spider squealed with pain and went berserk. It threw itself frantically at Levi in anger. Levi leaped into the air over the jabbed creature, Abby and Brody gasped at his action.

[A minute left Levi]

Levi put his arms together while in the air, his mind running wild with imagination. His arms quickly transformed into a huge cannon blaster, and without much thought, Levi released a straight blue energy blast which cut right through the spider and even through the ground.

The purple liquid imploded and exploded at once, bespattering everywhere. The ground tearing and shattering apart and everything falling into it. 

Levi couldn't help it any more, he relieved the merge as he fell into the darkness formed by the whole.

"Levy!" Brody yelled.

The ground beneath them shattered into pieces, displacing their positions, Levi felt a rock hit his head hard and he blacked out.
