Sentinel

Odin came in front of the man a watched as he used his fist to attack the barrier each hit broke his hand making it turn to ash but the next second it healed and a new hand punched again.

"Hey varen you still in there friend?" Odin said as he waved his hand in front of the man. The man just roared in response but didn't look at him. Odin stared at his eyes trying to see if he was still alive but alas Odin knew his friend was long gone.

"Well it seems ill have to kill you buddy but hey at least it's by me so you'll die next to a friend in combat as you wanted," Odin said as he smiled he soon appeared behind the man and stabbed him with infinity but the latter dodged appearing a few light year's away.

The man roared and soon a swarm of creatures appeared from a tear in space they looked exactly like him but more animal than man.

Back then Odin fought these creatures with his army from all over the universe humanity sacrificed themselves in the final fight against them but their numbers were still too much. So Odin decided to create another universe that was smaller but could grow. he chose his siblings and other people to become the guardians of said universe and sent them off. He also sent a shard of his soul to continue on while he fought the swarm himself.

After a long time of battle, the swarm devoured all organic and inorganic matter and left the universe as an abyss. Odin was still recovering from making reality so he couldn't survive without energy so he started to eat the swarm he fought. He replaced his body with their flesh improving himself and rising in power after so much fighting Odin started to mentally collapse.

He soon went into a mindless state as he tried recovering and during that time of war with the creatures a star was born in the darkness and new life was born Odin soon found out and went to bring the life to the new universe he created aeons ago. But he didn't have enough energy to so he thought them all he could in hopes of having this life survive.

During that time he met a man who had gone through the same life as him they bonded and Odin titled him as the God of nothing after the man gained divinity. After a few trillion years the race was near collapse since all resources they could find were near gone. The newly appointed God sacrificed himself and sent his race to the new universe which had already become an omniverse.

One of the people to come to the new universe was the son of the God named varen.

"Lets end your suffering I can see it what little left of you there is."

Odin threw his sword like a javelin and the sword expanded as far as one could see up and down left and right in the past and in the future a golden sword cut throw the abyss. Odin stood on the blade as he looked at varen the man roared and charged at him the creatures combined into him making an armor and weapon. As the hammer hit odins head Odin punched Varen's armor making a dent that was soon repaired.

"Damm that impressive you've reached the half oblivion stage not bad," Odin said as he smiled his head was still smashed showing his black bones the grey matter splattered on the blade as his skull healed the grey blood pooled around him.

Varen attacked again after regaining his footing Odin was launched towed the sword's handle a few trillion light-years away. Odin got up casually and looked at the man who was running towards him.

"Didn't you always want to fight one of my outer God forms I guess I should let you that would be a good farewell gift?" Odin said as a tear appeared behind him dark tentacles grabbed him and pulled him into the darkness. Soon a mass appeared as the collective nothingness and everything intercepted red eyes and black tentacles formed.

As the outer God of eternity formed a more recognizable form varen attacked one of the tentacles as the hammer made contact it soon was absorbed into the mass of concepts.

"It seems you've your weapon," Odin said but with his form, his voice sounded incomprehensible whatever was left of varen was now screaming in pain and madness the creature also suffered damage as the armor on his body slid off and decayed turning to ash. Soon Odin gained a humanoid form as the eyes around his body and tentacles focused on the man some tentacles fell becoming creatures that charged at varen.

"May you rest in eternal nothingness, my friend."

"Th...Ank...ou" the man said with whatever was left of him as the creatures devoured his existence. A silver bracelet dropped from the reaming bits of varen Odin transformed back into his original form a small smile was ever-present he picked up the bracelet. He looked at the complex patterns that were on every inch of the bracelet.

'Thank you for giving my master eternal rest.' an androgynous voice said as the bracelet shined with silver light.

"Eternal rest I erased his existence or what was left I don't think he doing anything much less resting," Odin said as he stared at the artifact.

'You still helped my master obtain peace'

"Well, whatever now do you know what happened to varen?"

'Yes five centuries ago he wandered in the abyss using his newly crafted ship but after twenty years he encountered a swarm of flesh that attacked him and his crew.'

'His crew was turned into these creatures and soon my master slew the monster but he was stabbed by one of the flesh tendrils he fought for a century before succumbing to whatever infected him'

"I see so that's why she thought he had the blood of the swarm God because of his corrupted companions that followed him." Odin said as he looked at the final piece of flesh that was eaten by a fox like creature.

'May I ask who are you?'

"I should be asking the same but my name is Odin nice to meet you," Odin said as he took out his hand in reflex to shake the voice he soon realized and retracted his hand.

'My name is Sentinel I am the last remaining piece of the shield of hope.' sentinel said with a proud tone.

"Shield of hope isn't that the shitty shield I infused with the personification of evil that soon became good instead," Odin said aloud in thought as he stared at sentinel.

'Yes I am- wait what shitty shield?' sentinel said as he looked I think at Odin.

"Yea when I was the blacksmith of nexus prime I made you and put the personification of evil in it I didn't even use intermediate blacksmith techniques I made it with the simple basics and also I didn't even try," Odin said forgetting that this would cause the artifact to probably become depressed and suicidal.

'So I'm worthless then?' sentinel asked absentmindedly.

"Well no I made you to contain evil not to be used so in reality, you were never useless but you did become more useful later on." Odin realized what he said and tried to comfort the artifact.

'Really?'

"Yes, remember no one is useless sure you might suck at this but that doesn't mean you suck at everything," Odin said as he smiled widely at the artifact.

'I see.'

'So I have decided to join you but I have a question what do you fight for.'

"A goth girl that died that I haven't gotten over in all honesty, oh and peace," Odin said as he smiled.

'Um ok well I guess I can work with that.'

"So how do you work do you combine to my soul my body my energy or something else?"

'I combine to the soul and physical body becoming a tattoo.' sentinel explained.

"Hmm I see ok pick a spot," Odin said as his skin became ink-black over many lifetimes Odin has gotten many tattoos. naturally, with odins body, the tattoos would break down in seconds but Odin could naturally control his body so they stayed permanently. With so many tattoos everywhere he became ink black but Odin could make certain tattoos show when he wished to wear them.

'Um, can you just pick?'

"Sure go to my limbic lobe."

'Um, why?'

"It's my least tattoed place second to my nerves."

'Um, I see.' sentinels soon became a sliver light and entered odins head appearing in his limbic lobe.

"Well, that settles everything for now," Odin said as the sword started becoming a normal holdable size.

'Can I ask why you threw that sword?' sentinel asked.

"Oh well the concept of a infinity restrains the swarm so I threw the blade and made it into a physical ground to weaken them," Odin explained.

'I see thank you, Odin.'

"No problem buddy now let's return I had an adventure before being rudely dragged here."

Odin soon appeared back on the ship and saw as the woman drank tea with Odin the other two were still asleep.

"Well it seems like I've intruded in Mrs uwu's tea party I'm sorry," Odin said sarcastically as he walked over and took a teacup that was set for him.

"So has it been taken care of?" the woman asked.

"Yes Alexis he's at rest but he was just a normal swarm creature, not the God as the one that studied them you sure can't tell their ranks apart," Odin said as he drank the tea.

"So what happened then how did he become one of them?" Alexis asked.

Odin just stared at her and sent a memory clip of the even and conversation. Which made Alexis look down at the teacup she was now lost in thought so Odin opened a portal to her realm and grabbed her digging his fingers into her eyes and tossing her into the realm.

"Well, that's done now how are they?"odin(ori) asked the other.

"They have done pretty well they have learned to control some of their new abilities and they've also regained their eyesight there original pigmentation is actually returning pretty quick as well," Odin said as he took out a tablet that showed the data.

"Hm, how will the space marine fair since his skin is very dark from the radiation exposure will it affect the cooking pigments?"

"After he's done he will return to a place skin before gaining ash grey color it won't affect his pigment cloaking Serena will stay pale and also have no affects to her cloaking," Odin answered as he swiped the tablet to the information of Bob.

"Have they learned how to use their inbuilt weapons?"

"Yes they only need to learn how to use the nanites in their body they have made 58% progress and are expected to be done in two more days," Odin said as he swiped again to the status of their progress.
