13 Awkward *Sam*

Lucy and Brock were acting very weird. They kept avoiding each other's gaze and didn't talk a lot, which is something Lucy does, but it was different today. I pulled Lucy into her room and she squeezed my wrist as I sat down next to her.

"Do you need something?" she asked with a confused look.

"I just want to know if you're okay. You've been acting kinda weird today."

"W-well, there was a weird incident last night." she said as I overreacted and squeezed her arms.

"Who?" I asked with the most pissed off face I've ever made.

Lucy was able to shake my grip, but when she did, she put out her arms as if trying to say-

"T-that's not w-what I meant!" she actually said what she was signalling. "Brock walked in my room by accident last night..."

"And?"

"I might like Brock just a little bit more than I did before!" she said as her face turned a bright shade of red. I looked at her face, then to her glasses.

"I can tell. Your face blends in with your glasses!"

Then, my phone rang. It said 'snobbish bitch'. I sighed and declined the call. I heard a small eruption of laughter from the living room.

"Hey, it was good talking, but I have to see what they're laughing at!" I said as I headed toward the door. "Bye!"

I dashed out of the room and saw Brock walking upstairs, clearly a bit annoyed. I ignored him and tossed myself onto the couch, next to Evan. I landed in the weirdest position possible in this situation. He stared at me for a moment. I put my right leg in an arch shape, then put my left arm under my head and acted like a model.

"Hey, baby." I said as Evan and I began to laugh.
