Chapter 16

I opened the door and stepped back in shock.

"Jesus! Jason, what the hell?"

He had his fingers crooked like he was planning to knock.

He looked me over and didn't turn his gaze.

I subconsciously tightened my hand over my towel.

"You took so long, I came to fetch you" he looked at me the same way he always looked at me, with boredom.

"You have to stop checking up on me in the bathroom, I'm not going to drown" I snarled at him.

I stepped forward and slipped landing face first into his hard chest. He grabbed my arms to steady me.

"Get up, you're soaking my clothes with you wet hair"

I moved backwards from his hard chest and stroked my aching nose.

"Is that the nicest thing to tell someone that almost fell?"

"I'm not nice"

"Tell me something I don't know"

He stood to the side to allow me pass, I moved forwards and my towel loosened a bit.
