Chapter 41
Ten minutes later, we walk back downstairs and into the kitchen. Leah exits it, with the same annoyed face, and judging by Niall’s face, it probably means that she failed to get a drink once again.
Zoe smiles at Jasper and I, but Niall looks sort of disappointed.
Jasper places an arm around my shoulder and pulls me into him so my back is at Niall and Zoe, before whispering into my ear:
"Laugh in five seconds."
I do just that and then pour coke and Jägermeister into a cup.
"I’m gonna go to the toilet babe." Jasper tells me and I nod.
Zoe then takes Niall’s hand to lead him out of the kitchen, but he tells her he forgot his drink and that he’ll meet her in the living room.
"Really Nicki?" he asks.
"Mind your own business, okay? I’m not your problem." I tell him and walk out of the kitchen.
I find Leah outside, having the occasional drag from Jason’s cigarette.
