Chapter 9: The fiery side of Xulan

A huge crowd has gathered up witnessing the fight of the trio. The people who assembled there started whispering behind their back.

"Isn't that the famous beauty of Black Market?!"

"The famous beauty of Black Market??!"

"Who is it??"

"Aishh...! Don't you know Jingfei?!"

"Oh...Jingfei??!! That...Jingfei???"

"Yes...! That Jingfei!"

"Where?? Where??"

"Then who is the other two?!"

"The one with pink hanfu isn't looking that bad though!"

"Ohh. I want to have a taste of her!"

"Why are they fighting?!"

Yutao upon seeing the huge crowd swarming up ahead sniggered, "Looks like an interesting fight is going on"

Xulan hanged back behind Yutao. He was stalling lazily and replied unbothered, "Tsk.....! Seems like a girls fight!"

Yutao upon seeing his act asserted, "Ohh..common. The chances to witnesses such a fight are rare! It's such a waste to miss it! Let's go!"

Yutao then roughly grabs Xulan's hand and went ahead passing over the swarm of people then stood in the front line. He smirks upon seeing the fight amusing himself. Unenthusiastic Xulan standstill as he was forced to witness the girl's fight. As he vaguely looked at the faces...he started musing on it, 'These two faces seem a bit familiar...where have I seen them?!'

As he closely observes the faces he instantly realised, "Ohh no! It's meimei's friends Lihua and Bingbing!"

Yutao shocked upon hearing the words blurted in bewilderment, "Eh...! Really??!!"

Xulan without giving him a reply instantly rushed to the scene. The scene Xulan put himself in was sort of awkward. Lihua and Jingfei were pulling out each other hair while Bingbing were grabbing Jingfei's waist from the back, trying hard to get her off from Lihua. Lihua upon seeing Xulan got flabbergasted! She glows up to him while pulling Jingfei's hair, her eyes widened up and sparkled in enthusiasm.

"Xulan gege!" , she reacted.

Xulan upon seeing the situation couldn't believe his eyes. Is this the shy and cute Lihua I always knew of? He smirks and instantly grasps the situation at hand. He gave a swift blow on their abdomen, making the two of them to fall on the ground.

Yutao quickly rushes to the scene and pull up Bingbing. Xulan while pulling up Lihua feel unsettled at seeing her messy torn dress that he immediately took out his coat and wrapped it around her shoulder. Lihua stunned upon Xulan's action stands still feeling nervous.

Her face was blushing into beet red.

Xulan glanced on Lihua and questioned in concerned, "What happened?? Why are you here? And meimei?? Where is meimei??"

Lihua with her reddish cheeks spoke up troubledly, "Xulan gege, you have to save Xialin!"

Upon hearing Lihua's words, Xulan became even more unstable that he glanced at her and asked disturbingly, "Tell me what happened?! How do you end up here?!"

Lihua replied in dreadfulness, "We follow a man's instruction and went to the wooden house with a crescent black moon sign. It lies at the end of the black market. The woman there tricked us! She put potion into our food which makes us knockout. Then she sold us here! We don't know what has happened to Xialin. The owner here told us that only we two are brought over here and sold!"

Paying attention to Lihua's words Yutao interrupted with a solemn look on his face, "I am afraid it's not that simple. The crescent black moon is the symbol of the Eagle bandit!"

Bingbing overhearing the name Eagle bandit was left disturbed and dead worried. She turned to Xulan and enunciated, "Xulan gege, you have to save Xialin. We don't know what happened to her"

Xulan grasping the situation spoke up consciously, "Well let's get you out from here first"

Yutao and Xulan hinted at each other and pulled out their swords. They both were ready to fight.

A swarm of brothel guards came rushing in at it.

Mo chou then commanded the guards, "Quick bring the ladies!"

Heeding at Mochou's commands, the guards immediately acted. Seeing the situation, the mob immediately ran off. They ran in chaos with no particular direction.

Xulan and Yutao on the side, quickly charge in and fights off the guards one by one.  Not sparing even one life they killed each and every one of them. After killing them all, Xulan quickly caught Mochou off-guard.

With his eyes beaming with fire, he lay his bloodstain sword on Mochou's neck and inquired furiously, "Now speak. Who sold them here? And where is Xialin??"

Upon seeing the bloodstain sword aiming her neck Mo chou with a fright look on her face spoke up in nervousness, "I...don't have any idea of the girl called Xialin! The woman from the wooden house sold these two young women here!"

Yutao stared at the woman and questioned sharply, "The wooden house with a crescent Black moon sign?!"

Mochou replied to it shakily, "Yes...yes....please be merciful, please spare my life!"

Yutao scoffed at it and continues sarcastically, "Ohh..?! Too bad...Since you are working with the people of Eagle bandit. I assume you must be one with them!"

Frightened by it, Mochou pleaded with teary-eyed, "Eagle bandit??!! Please... please. I didn't know that they were a part of the Eagle bandit!"

As she was pleading for her life, Xulan immediately slashes Mochou's neck with a fiery look in his eyes, "Hmph! I'll spare no one who touches my little sister or beloved!"

With it, Mo chou laid dead on the ground.

In just a flash moment, the bustling brothel house became a massacre house filled with the pool of blood flowing like a river. Lihua remained aghast seeing this fierce and brutal side of her Xulan ge ge. She was left bewildered at the thought that her charming, handsome and fun-loving Xulan ge ge could be this brutal when ticked off.

While she was on the mused, Xulan approached Lihua with his bloodstain sword and declared caringly, "Lihua....! Lihua....! Let's go!"

Lihua remained in dazed blurring out Xulan's words. She became lost musing at Xulan's bloodstain face.

Xulan upon seeing her baffled face, immediately grabs Lihua's hand and dragged her out from the Brothel house. Lihua subconsciously followed his pace. He then grabs her waist and lifted her up on his horse. Lihua in dazed looked deeply at Xulan's bloodstain face as she was lifted up and seated in front of him. He then grabs Lihua's hands and put it on his horse rope. They then drove off from the place.

On the other side, Bingbing unable to get on Yutao's horse due to her heavyweight, looked at him in helplessness. Yutao helps her to settle down on his horse and drove off.

Bingbing was smiling from ear to ear filled with joy.

She was unable to keep her smile hidden as she sits behind Yutao. She chuckled to herself in amusement, 'Ohh God..I am seating behind a handsome hero. I must have done some good deeds in my past life!'

They then gallop off further away from the brothel house and stops at a safe spot.

Xulan's horse reaching earlier than Yutao's gets off from the horse and slowly lays down Lihua. Lihua became more and more nervous when she was left alone with Xulan.

Upon seeing her shy act, Xulan went closer to her. He glanced down at her face and spoke up cooly, "It's dangerous here. Go back home"

Lihua nervously clenched Xulan's hands and spoke up with a concerned look on her face, "Xulan ge ge. Be safe"

Xulan gazed deeply at Lihua and smiled charmingly.

"Don't worry. I"ll be fine" , he spoke to her gently.

While they were conversing they saw Yutao catching up. After reaching there Yutao helps Bingbing to get down from the horse. The two of them then left the spot and headed for the Wooden house.
