Chapter 52: Xulan!
At Yutao's home....
Yutao's mother had came to the kitchen to observe the things there.
The servants were preparing the meals pleasingly, therefore she just commanded them to simmer the food nicely and leave the place. Just as she was coming out from the kitchen, she met with her young servant who had left to buy fruits and vegetables. She had arrived late without buying anything from the market. She was all drenched as she came. Her clothes were all soaked by the rain.
Yutao's mother looked at her expressly and asked, "Where did you go?!"
The Young servant replied wittily, "Madame, I had went to buy fruits and vegetables but unexpectedly the rain came down on me. "
Yutao's mother then spoke, "ugh.. Is that so? .. You may go and... change your dress"
Just as the servant was about to leave, she recalled the gossip of the shop vendors who were shutting their shops.
