Chapter 30: Zhang Wei saved Xialin!

The threats of the Wicked Woman, Mingmei made Zhang Wei unable to do anything else. It's as if his hands and feet were tied down tightly. Since the wicked woman was inside his magical barrier, Zhang Wei felt a familiar essence from Mingmei's body.

Zhang Wei pondered as to why the essence of the body felt familiar.

Then he realised, "The Blue Coral Elixir! The essence of the Blue Coral Elixir was inside Mingmei's new body!".

Since it was the elixir formulated by Zhang Wei himself, he understood it's capability. Therefore Zhang Wei used his prowess to increase the energy flow of the barrier lending his mythical beast soul to the Wicked woman's body.

Mingmei upon feeling the intense mythical beast energy rushing inside her body, realise that she was about to be driven out from her body, therefore she screamed in pain, "Zhang Wei's do you know how long I have waited to resurrect into a new body! How could you do this to me?!!" 

The Mythical beast essence inside the body became so strong that Mingmei wasn't able to take it any further. Even before she could utter another word she was expelled out from her new body. 

As she was cast out from her new body, Mingmei's soul immediately flew up and escaped the door leaving promptly. Zhang Wei wasn't able to catch it further and destroy it.

Once Mingmei's soul left the body, the body immediately fell on the ground. Zhang Wei rushed towards it and grabbed it. The soulless body lied down on Zhang Wei's arm. Soon, Zhang Wei held the body on his left arm and put his other arm onto the body's heart and summoned it's soul.

On the other side of the story.....

At the East cave...

Xialin finds that her soul was starting to disappear little by little. She looked at her hands then her feet and started wondering, "What is happening to me?! Why is my soul disappearing! Am I dead now?!!"

Soon after, Xialin's soul was completely disappeared from the East cave and was resurrected at her own body, at Zhang Wei's residence.

As Zhang Wei's hold the body, soon the body's started to revived and the heart began to beat. Xialin came back to life.

She slowly opened up her eyes. Her small yet cute eyes meet eye to eye with an unknown man! Zhang Wei's big face was so closed up to Xialin watching her keenly as she revived that she immediately brushes him off, pushed him by his chest and gets up quickly. Zhang Wei grinned at her behaviour. He then spoke curiously, "So...You are the real owner?!"

Xialin anxiously looked at the man, she then turned to her own body and checked at her own hands and feet. She was in dazed unable to figure it out, what the heck is going on! She then pinched herself. The pinched on her cheeked made her feel the pain. Xialin brimming with overjoyed, she chuckled to herself, "I am alive...ha..ha…ha...finally I am back to my own body!"

She then wondered, "What exactly happened?! What happened to that b**ch?!! One second I was surrounded by the tremendous hungry beast and now I am out here back to my own body!" 

Unable to find the answer she then gazed curiously at the unknown man before him and gaped, "Is he the one who saved me?! He looks like God himself! Have I reached heaven?!! Is this heaven? Am I dead or alive?!!"

The presence of the unknown man was magnificent. There was a quiet yet enormous aura flowing around him. By the look of it, he didn't seem like an ordinary man.

Zhang Wei was amusing himself at the unknown Woman's behaviour.

Xialin raised her brows and inquired him, "Who are you?! Are you a man or God?! Where am I now?!"

As Xialin questioned Zhang Wei instantly became attentive. He smirked and replied, "I am the one who saved your life. I am your benefactor. You are now at my residence inside the Fog Forest"

Xialin then continued, "Then.....what happened to that b**ch?!"

Zhang Wei grinned as he spoke, "To That....???!!!"

Xialin immediately brushes him off and said, "Aish….! The one who stole my body!!"

Zhang Wei nods his head and answered cockily, "Ah...! That....! I shoved her away, she won't be able to come back any more!"

Xialin feeling pleased by his words, she thanked him with her palm resting on the fist of the other hand, "Thank You! My benefactor! I'll never forget this kindness of yours!"

Seeing her innocent yet charming behaviour, Zhang Wei flirted, "Ahh! It's my honour to save such a young beautiful woman!"

Xialin's eyes widen up as she heard the words. Her mind went berserk 'This man looks somewhat flirtatious. It would be of no good to stay here any longer' Xialin thought over she then decided to quickly leave the place, therefore she turned to the man and said, "Benevolent man, thank you so much for your kind help. Now I'll proceed with my journey!"

Zhang Wei insisted on, "It's late night now, you can spend the night here. It'll be dangerous for you to go all alone this night!"

Xialin resists him with an earnest desire in her eyes, "No, this..... I can't prolong here any longer. My brother's time is limited. I have to save him in time!"

Feeling curious at her words, Zhang Wei asked her, "What happened to your brother? Why is his time-limited?!"

Xialin replied, "My brother's death has been prolonged to a month, within this time, I need to get to the Cold palace and asked the immortal for his help!"

There was a long pause when Xialin mentioned the word Cold palace. It seems like the word Cold palace has left a deep marked on Zhang Wei's heart. His face immediately turns gloomy.

After a short while, he gazed up, his almond-shaped deep eyes staring blankly at Xialin, he then spoke, "You really wanna save your brother, don't you?!!"

Xialin answered right away, "yes!"

Seeing the earnest desire in Xialin's eyes. Zhang Wei unable to ignore her, he immediately summoned a firefly spirit. The firefly spirit instantly appeared before him. It was a light yellow firefly spirit radiating yellow light from its whole body, making it to glow in the dark.

Zhang Wei then turned to Xialin and spoke, "This firefly spirit will lead you to your destination. Follow it's path."

He then gazed deeply at her and warned her, "Always remember, do not part ways even for a second from this firefly spirit. That way I'll be able to protect you from afar"

Xialin feeling pleased at his action she smiled and thanked him. Zhang Wei watched her as she leaves the place. The firefly spirit flew by and Xialin went towards the door following it. Just as she was about to leave the place, she gave one last turn to Zhang Wei, smiled at him and spoke, "Thank You! See you again!".

Zhang Wei was left thunderstruck at her word, "Thank you! See you again!", it was the same words that Xifeng had spoken to him in her past life before they part their ways after that Xifeng never turned up again. And the way she turned back and smiled at him, Xifeng did the same back then. Zhang Wei minds went berserk unable to think straight he immediately came out running to take one last look at Xialin. But she had already left the place.
