The Bet or The Pet

"I never back off from challenges specifically if the ones I am sure to win" Axoa smiled with confidence.

"But what are we betting on?" Axoa added.

"Let's see how about the one that wins becomes other's pet? "? Emir smiled wickedly

" You are nasty?! aren't you?.... you will regret later"

Axoa warned Emir

That was it! That was the start of a bet that will change their lives forever.

"So, should we start now? Emir asked

"No, I have already spent too much time in this world!Bye!"Axoa left the Metaverse

"What a Rude girl, I will teach her some lessons when she becomes my pet!"

Axoa didn't belong from this world, no not metaverse, but from Earth itself... she is the guardian angel of Earth created by God, as the Earth was dying Axoa was sent to Earth for her final moments, she never felt bad about the planet dying but as she stepped down on Earth all she wanted was to save it, the ignorance by her most hated living creature that is human, made her dying soul break even further.

"I don't want Earth to die the way it is dying!"Axoa exclaimed.

As a Guardian Angel Axoa was quite a lazy one, she hated to visit Earth and look after it. Most of the Guardian Angel used to live on their planet itself as different living beings to keep it safe, even the ones who lived in paradise used to go visit their respective planets in 100 Earth Years.

For Axoa it has been one Heaven Year which equals ten thousand Earth years, she used to love fooling around the paradise saying she is keeping an eye on Earth every year. All came to an end when Axoa fell sick in the year 2010 AD by Earth's Calendar.

Axoa was still 17, as Angels and Gods aged very slowly. It was surprising for a Guardian angel to fall sick at the mere age of 17, Axoa was intertwined with the Earth's fate. All the other Guardian angels were older and wiser than her, they have lived double the age than she did.

Earth was the favorite place for Axoa to visit until the Human civilization started to grow its influence on the planet. Axoa hated the humans, so never took a human form as a Guardian but she always lived as different living beings from trees to tigers to ants. Though she had to face earthly death quite a few times, they were quite painful.

When she saw her planet where she spent her childhood look so broken and destroyed, she vowed to save her home. That was the beginning of the journey for Axoa for Mission: Save Planet Earth.

It's been two months since Axoa came on Earth, this was the first time Axoa took a human form, not because she liked them, she despised them even more, but human beings are the only ones who can bring a change on the Earth for being the most intelligent species, that's when she discovered about metaverse.

After the brief encounter with Emir, Axoa was quite frustrated with this arrogant boy's attitude and was determined to change his mind. When she went to the Metaverse she couldn't find a single world that matched the way Earth looked a few centuries ago.

After inspection, she came to know that the worlds are created by a group of people with a certain skill called coding who are known as programmers and usually wear big glasses. These people were also called developers, now the problem was the main developers who built the metaverse never really got to see the beauty of Earth itself, so all they could build were boring perfect worlds. Mountains that had no steep slopes, oceans without huge waves, and forests with no darkness or damp smells.

Axoa have learned to be a metaverse developer within a month, with super intelligence it was like a cakewalk for Axoa, currently she was working on building the closest simulation to a waterfall. Niagara waterfall was a place she could never forget a place that looked so dangerous yet so beautiful. Unlike metaverse, the reality had many things which couldn't be touched as easily as in virtual reality, but probably that was one of the imperfections that made reality what it is, many times things look mesmerizing from afar more than from going near.

It was hard to build something with so much care yet with imperfection, Axoa started wondering not how perfection is achieved but how imperfection is achieved.

Being a planet Guardian Angel comes with its own perks one can go without sleep on their planet for days.

Axoa didn't sleep that night and coded the entire night to create the Dangerous beauty - Niagara waterfall.

The next morning she entered into the metaverse in the purple Armor, suddenly she realized they had not decided the place to meet or exchanged friendship connect, that helps one to contact with anyone in the friend list. Even having a supreme account won't let the other person see where someone is, the only place she could think of was the bar where she met that arrogant guy, whose name she is still unaware of.

Emir too entered the metaverse and was having quite similar thoughts so he too decided to go to the bar where they first met.

As both were approaching the door, they crashed with one another it was not their life's first touching someone in metaverse but something felt different, though they couldn't understand exactly what.

"Okay so you are here I thought you would run away from the bet" Emir laughed.

"Excuse me you're the one who didn't give me any name or asked for friends connect".

"Hey, do you think you're a big shot huh!?... I am the hero here you should have asked... But okay let me do the honor... my connect id is EmirCode... add me and my name is Emir"

"Why should I add you first, you add me then I will accept... my id is Axoa123"

"What?!?... Damn girl that's your id name... okay okay let me send you the connect, by your id name I can say you can't do anything properly here" Emir burst into laughter after saying this.
