18 chapter 18
Pete has a spiked dog collar placed on him and is dragged with a chain through the orphanage by his neck. The boy was being mistreated even by the standards of animals. Pete was being made to be a spectacle for any of the children that even had the thought of rebelling against the staff members here. The lad was taken to the filthy attic and thrown into a huge metal case. The woman cursed as she was placed the padlocks on the large case. She then left the attic and she locked the door behind her.

Pete had been drugged and he was in la-la land for about three days. He wakes up and he begun to groan out of pain. The boy feels and determined that he has been imprisoned in some sort of box. He starts to grow afraid and begins to panic.
After about thirty minutes, he quickly tires.
The boy thought,"I lost my parents and I have been thrown into this hell hole! What I have done to deserve this punishment?" I had always obeyed Mom and Dad. I am so hungry and thirsty! Why am I in this box?"
Pete was too weak to fight his way out of the box but his mind was still raging.
He said,"I must not give up! I will get out of here if it kills me! I will not let that witch beat me! Dad told me that if my body is beaten that I must not let my mind be beaten down as well! I will win!"
Three more days by, Pete hears the case rattle, and it opens up.
The boy bolts out of the box and tries to run out of the room. But the female staff member had locked the door behind her, when she had entered the attic.
The woman begins to laugh like a madwoman,"This is not my first rodeo, you little brat!"
The staff member beats Pete with a whip as blood gushes from his back.

Bob was at school when he sees a man come to him in the middle of the blue.
The large man says," Boy, come with me!"
Bob stands to feet and yells,"No, I will not do so! Mother and Father told me to never go with a stranger!"
The man laughs," Your parents have both died in a mine collapse!"
Bob yells," You are a liar! That is not true!"
The man speaks," Teach, you can see that I am from the Urano government and have papers to take this brat! You can see my papers if you want."
The teacher says," No, that is okay! You can take him!"
Bob screams as the teacher returns to his lesson. The large man grabs up the boy and throws him into his state van.
The door slams and the man locks the back door. The man gets in the van and drives off to who knows where.

Bob was not able to bring anything with him and he had nothing but the clothes on his back. The chunky lad had been left with nothing.
Bob whispers,"Mother, Father, I will not let this bring me down! I will find a better life than you two both had! I promise that to you!"

Bob remembers being told how to be man from his Father.
Robert speaks,"If you feel the need to cry then do so but do not do it in front of your
enemies."
Bob asks," Why is that?"
The Father speaks,"Because it will be seen as weakness and you will attacked even harder! You need to learn cry on the inside."
Bob speaks,"How do I do that?"
The Father speaks,"That is something that you will have to learn for yourself."

Bob smiles with a veil of water on his eyes.
The lad speaks,"I know what you were trying to tell me father."

The female staff member was still beating on the young Pete with her whip as blood begun to pour profusely from his back.
The woman shouts," Give your will to me and I might show you some mercy! Good children are spared from beating, such as you are getting! Just give in and I will let you live!"
Pete still would not back down and gives the staff member a look of sheer disdain.
The lad would rather be beaten to death, than obey such an evil woman.
The woman shouts," Curse you, I will break you even if it kills me! You will soon obey me or I will die trying!"
Pete manages to spit in the woman's face and it angers her into complete hysterics.
She soccer kicks the young down Pete back onto the ground and she does not stop the assault.
Pete still tries to defend himself and he not allow himself to be broken in like an animal. He grabs the attacker's leg with both of his lanky arms and is holding onto her for dear life.
Pete sees something flash in the corner of his eye and he sees that it is a rusty screwdriver.
The woman yells,"Let go of me you brat or I will feed you to the dogs!"
The lad's life before his very eyes and he sees his dead parents before him as he had knew
them last.
Pete yells,"Mom! Dad! I thought that you were both dead, but here you are! Please help me! I beg you! I am being beat! Can you not see that?"
His parents both look at their son with a strong intense gaze of love.
His mother spoke," Son, our bodies have been long since destroyed and only our spirits remain. We both wish to help you in this matter, but we are not able to do so."
He looked at his parents with tears in his eyes, as he wailed out of absolute pain and horror of the beating that he had just received.
His father speaks,"Pete, you must not give in to the pain and die! You must fight on my son and not give to the grave! It is not your time to be with us yet! Fight, Pete, fight!"
The abuser looks down at the boy mumbling under his breath unintelligible.
The woman speaks,"The boy has gone mad! I need to finish this quickly or hard telling what he might do!"
The abuser starts to punch at the head of Pete mercilessly.
He spoke,"No, you are the insane one! You are a nutcase!"
He hammers down the screwdriver as the head of a hammer to the left thigh of his attacker.
The woman screams out in horror by the blow which amazes the beaten down boy.
Pete sees that the old rusty screwdriver is now plunged down to the handle inside this wench's thigh. Pete was too tired to even smile or wonder to how he obtained the tool. But he just knew one
thing: that he had to leave his new found hell.
The female assailant was used to being the attacker not the one receiving the blows and it was very upsetting to self centered abuser. She took pleasure in the pain of others yet abhorred acquiring pain herself. She had lived a double standard because she expect the children to do tasks that she as an adult was unable to accomplish.
She was reaping what she had sowed. She gave others pain now it was time for her to be hurt as she had done to hundreds of innocent children. Of course this was all too hard of a pill for her shallow and she did not like it one bit.
The woman falls down to the floor, while screaming at the top of her lungs and land on her back. The old wooden floor had given no give to the child abuser and nails were poking her in back as she laid there in cringing pain.
Pete saw that the evil woman was writhing out in pain and thus it was the best time for him to escape the attic. The boy saw that the keys were connected to the woman's waist band.
He walked over to the woman's keys and Pete had his leg grabbed.
She spoke,"You thought that I would let escape from me? You must be insane!"
Pete was taken back by the sudden response.
