As soon as what was inside the mason jar registered in their heads, the look of shock, fear, and concern appeared on their faces. The head was a perfect match for the jar I picked because it was a snug fit, meaning it wouldn't float around or face the other way with a little bit of movement. However, like clockwork, its eyes started to wildly dart around—seemingly trying to lock onto a single target but failing—but everyone else had a repeat of expressions from the first time they saw it.

It would've happened for the third time if I took the head out because they were missing the squelching sound it would produce every time its eyes snapped in a different direction.

With that said, it quickly rained complaints, questions, and concerns but I retold them the whole breakdown before I turned to Oscar.
