Mainland Strike Force Part 3

[Friday 10:00 PM Marine Headquarters]

An army truck stopped at the dropzone of the Headquarters. And after that, a squad of Scout rangers hops out from the back of the truck. And then a lead man the squad leader approached, Revo who was standing in front of the door.

"I am Master Sergeant Henzio Gardiza. Callsign Kali. And this is my squad, also known as Charlie squad." Gardiza tried to initiate a handshake and Revo grabs his hand for a handshake.

"Please, Master Sergeant follow me the commanding officer is waiting for the briefing of the mission that will be conducted." And Gardiza nodded. After that, all of them entered the office, inside the office are monitors and surveillance cameras.

"Hello, I am the commanding officer of the MARSOG" after the commanding officer introduces himself. All of the scout rangers saluted at the commanding officer and the commanding officer returned the salute. After that, a slide was flashed at the board. And the commanding officer pointed at the board.

"This is Ka Irning of the 7th Kalgasan Battalion of the New People Army, he is currently in hiding in the Tampakan jungle and we are to find his location and the weapon cache that he and his battalion is hiding. His battalion is composed of around 100-150 people. The rules of engagement of this mission are don't shoot until fired upon."

And the commanding officer paused and then points at the board once again.

"And the location of the weapon cache according to our sources is south of the Columbio. And with that information, we can locate a few meters from their camp. Tampakan is a small village and the NPA is used in that village so the Infil we will use is by car, we are not using heavily armored due to the enemy might have eyes in the village and will be a bad thing to happen if this joint mission failed."

After that, a new slide was flashed. "Now the composition of the team will be the Alpha Team of the MARSOG and the Charlie Team of the Scout Rangers, I guess you have met the Alpha Team Group Squad leader Technical Sergeant Revo."

After the commanding officer said that Gardiza looked at Revo with a certain gaze. "Well, then I will be leaving so Squad leader plan the things you need before executing the mission." And the commanding officer walks out of the room.

And then Gardiza turns around and then said "We are the ones that will control the mission and I am the lead operation officer on this mission am I understood Technical Sergeant." Gardiza looked at Revo.

"This is supposed to be a joint operation, not a supporting mission, Master Sergeant" Revo replied, as he crossed his arms. And soon enough the pressure inside the office turns heavy.

The other marine staff sergeant that was working was also pressured by the intense aura the two has been giving off.

"Charlie 1 why do we need a joint operation of this kind of mission when we can do this alone" and then Revo looked at the scout range who said that.

"Well, you guys seemed to have been much more energetic. But you guys must know that the reason we are here is to be on good terms with you people. I know the branches are different and our training is infer-"

and Revo was cut as the Master Sergeant grabbed his collar. "Let's start I don't wanna see your face because I can only see the hatred among your peers."

And Revo the hand of the Master sergeant. And the master sergeant felt the intense hand of Revo that grips him. He quickly let go of the collar of Revo, and then Revo walked at the front. After that, the Alpha Team goes inside the office. And then they felt the pressure that they were in.

"I thought this place was off pressure how come the atmosphere is like a battle zone" Servo 1 stated, as he walked and seats on one of the chairs. "I think the scout meow meow-" Servo 3 stopped when 3 of the scout rangers gaze on them. "Well luckily you stopped Servo 3" both of Servo 3 and 5 laughed and giggled. After that 2,4 and 6 entered the office room.

"Now that we are all here. The operation is simple to break into two groups one will be the search lead party while the other will be the Search party that will try and delays the enemy forces until the cache exploded in smithereens. One car will be stopped a few meters away from the destined location point same with the other car that will be coming from the north. The scout rangers will be coming from the north and the MARSOG will be coming from the south, we are going to pincer tactics using this we will eliminate stragglers."

``tch who do you think you are pathetic`` Gardiza looked at Revo and then commented "How can you be so sure on that kind of operation tactics. You know that Tampakan and Columbio is a big piece of land here in mindanao we cannot search them in one day."

And then Revo replied "Who said we are only searching for one day? We are going to live there for 2 weeks until we find that weapon cache. Well, that was a joke we have flown a drone, and we already know the location of the cache. It is located near Colombio and Talampakan boundaries." Revo smiled after saying those words.

After that, all of them nodded and they felt that Revo was quite a good Technical Sergeant, to begin with. "Well then if that is the case then send us the coordinates before we move out." And Revo replied,

"Staff Sergeant Reyes, give Master Sergeant Gardiza the location and coordinate of the target cache."

After that, the Staff sergeant walked towards the Master sergeant and hands a small piece of paper. And from that, the paper Gardiza inputted it into his GPS. And from there, they waited for the Alpha Team to gear up.

"They are like girls they are really too long to get geared up. Geez, we look like ducklings here waiting. For the sun to rise." One of the scout rangers exclaimed.
