Feng Yi: "On the way, almost there."
For an ordinary social gathering, even being late for some reason wouldn't cause much of a fuss.
But for ancestral worship ceremonies, there is an "auspicious time."
Some people may think being a bit late doesn't matter, but Old Man Feng takes this very seriously and is strict about these matters.
Once the "auspicious time" arrives, regardless of whether everyone has arrived, the ceremony will begin.
Feng Chi: "I heard the time was specially calculated by a master, but I think he did consult a master, yet he probably set this time considering multiple factors, like the schedules and living habits of certain important guests who wouldn't make it if it was too early."
Feng Yi: "Yeah, like Uncle Zhen, who is probably going to be about ten minutes later than me [laughs]. I mentioned you when I messaged Uncle Zhen earlier; he said he wants to have a chat with you when there's a chance."
