GALA (7): HELENA TO THE RESCUE

' What's next??' Aiden asks. Helena secretly takes a gun from one of the men. ' We surrender, release the others. ' Helena replies. ' Miss Homerna you make it sound so easy ' Aiden says. ' What can I say? Is there anything hard for Helena Homerna ' Helena replies and leaves aft guns. Helena sees three men coming in their direction. She pulls Aiden to herself and hooks her hands around his neck. She brings her face close to him. Aiden felt his heart stop beating. " Mi.. Miss.. Miss Homerna, wha.. what are.. you .. What are you doing??' He stammers.

' Making out with you. I want them to think we are making out. Place your hands around my waist.' Helena says. Aiden raises his hands and hugs her waist. ' There they are. Hey lovebirds!! come with us' one of the men says.

' Who are you?? How dare you interrupt us??' Helena asks in pretence. They are both handcuffed and led to the outer hall.

The boss was becoming impatient when he saw three of his men leading handcuffed Aiden and Helena inside.

' Well Well. if it isn't the Astrovanas first young master.' The boss says.

' Boss we found them making out at the dining hall ' one of the men reports.

' Good job. Keep them over there' the boss replies.

Aiden and Helena are kept together with Bianca and Adam. Tiffany, Stella,Leo and Jack were a few steps away from them.

Tiffany was boiling. Aiden and Helena were making out??! They barely knew each other. This Helena was to cheap.

Helena notices that all the other guests were kept separated from the Astrovanas. They were about 7 men around them.

Were the Astrovanas the actual target of the terrorist?? Aiden's voice broke her thoughts.

' What now??' ' Slide your hands through the handcuff' Helena says. Sure enough the handcuff slid right through. ' Now cover me while I uncuff Adam and Bianca.

' Helena what are you doing??? How are you free?!' Adam asks. ' I'll explain later. First we need to scram.' Helena replies. She uncuffs Bianca, Adam, Leo, Jack, Tiffany and Stella with her hair pin. ' Now you all place your hands at your back and pretend like you are still cuffed.' Helena says.

Normally, Helena wasn't the brightest candle on the cake but now it was best to follow her lead.

Helena clears her throat and says ' Mister. I don't want to stay close to the Astrovanas, they only bring trouble. if they had not invited me I will not be in this mess. I want to be far away from them.' The boss signals his men to take her close to the other guests. Helena is taking there. ' Everyone cooperate with me so we can all escape.' Helena whispers.

She uncuffs the other guests and tell them to keep pretending.

' Mister. I never got to know your name " Helena says to the boss.

What was Helena doing?? Aiden wondered

' Everyone calls me Danger' The boss replies.

' Danger. I would love to see how dangerous you are in bed.' Helena says as she seductively licks her lips.

Danger felt a tinge in his chest as he imagined himself in bed with the gorgeous looking lady.

' Bring her to me.' Danger says. His men go over and brings Helena to Danger.

' Don't even think of touching her'

' keep your filthy hands away from her'

' Don't go near Helena '

' Do you have a death wish '

' Keep away from her'

Aiden, Adam, Leo, Jack and Bianca says angrily. ' Helena turns to them ' Mind your business ' She says and secretly winks at them.

They understand that it's part of her plan.

Once Helena got close enough to Danger, She kicked him in the stomach and takes a remote away from his pocket. ' Run for your lives.' She screams. The guests start shuffling and running. They hear a gunshot. Danger stands up. ' I will not hesitate to kill all of you. Give me back that remote.' Danger says as he points the gun at Helena. Helena chuckles and says ' Helena Homerna listens to nobody ' She kicks the gun out of his hands and takes out her own gun and points at him. ' All of you lower your weapons or you can consider losing your boss.' Helena says in a surprisingly cold voice. One of the men grabs Bianca and says ' Not quite Miss. lower your weapon or the lady dies. Helena grits her teeth and drops the gun.

Danger picks it up. ' Enough of games. Astrovanas why don't you stay where I can see you. I have your sister don't mess with me ' He pushes Bianca towards Aiden and Adam. They instinctively catch her. Danger raises his gun and smirks ' Goodbye Astrovanas ' Three shots echoes in the hall.

Everyone held their breath. Danger is shocked.

Helena stands in front of the siblings and receives the three bullets with her back. Blood begins to drip

She turns to Danger with a murderous look in her eyes. ' I think I have played enough. She kicks Danger in his groin and shoots his men at their thighs. One of them snatches the remote from Helena and presses the button accidentally. ' Run!!'

They had thirty seconds to leave the building. Helena grabbed her bag and they all ran.

The entrance was just in front.

5..4..3..

They all ran out and they heard the blast.The building was in flames. ' Mr Astrovana we did it. Right??' Helena says and turn around.' Where is Mr Astrovana??' Helena says. ' First brother isn't here' Bianca says. Helena takes off her heels and runs into the building.

The police arrive and barricade the area

' Let us in' Leo shouts.

' My brother is in there' Adam says.

' Let us in immediately ' Bianca says.

' No one is allowed in. The firefighters are on their way.' The policeman says.

' But sir..' ' Please step aside allow us to do our work' the policeman says.

' The policeman is right. What help could we render?? it won't help if we all did in there' Tiffany says. ' Tif is right. I am not ready to die' Stella adds. The two are ignored as the others are worried about Aiden and Helena.

Inside..

Aiden tried to get pass the wall of flames standing between him and the door . He felt himself getting dizzy. He couldn't die this way he had to find a way to get out. He coughed.

Helena heard his cough and goes to the locked door. ' Mr Astrovana are you in there??' She ask.

' Miss Homerna what are you doing here?? leave it's too Dangerous.' Aiden replies. ' Stand back' Helena goes behind, runs to the door and kicks it. The lock falls down and she runs in. She sees the huge wall of flames. She tears the hem of her dress and wades through the fire. Aiden begins to lose consciousness. He is falling when Helena holds him up. Great!! Just what she needed. She carried him on her back and gritted her teeth at the sting she felt from the gun wound. She made her way through the flames.

Outside...

Bianca's face is streaming in tears when she sees Helena coming out with Aiden on her back.

' Helena '

The others raised their heads and sees Helena and Aiden. The rush to help her. ' Place him in a car.' Helena says. ' Miss there is an excavation on the road. I advise you wait for the medical team we called. Passage with a car isn't possible.' The policeman says.

' Nothing is impossible for Helena Homerna ' Helena says as she places Aiden in a car. Bianca and Adam follows. Helena ask ' Where is my bag??' ' Bianca hands it to her.

Helena gets out her phone and dials a number and puts it on speaker she starts the car.

' Hello Helena. Are you out yet??' Beverley asks.

' Yes. But I got a bullet wound and one of the twins is unconscious. Show me another way around the excavation and how close the nearest hospital is.' Helena says.

' Okay.... The nearest hospital is four hours drive away and as for a way around the excavation. Keep moving forward take the second left you see. Take two rights and a left. Keep moving forward and take your third right. You will come across a fork. Take the right and you will reach a bumpy road. Keep moving forward and you will reach the city centre. The hospital is at a street at your left.' Beverley says.

' Got it " Helena replies. ' What do I do for the next four hours??' Beverley asks. ' Do you think I am that slow??' Helena asks. ' You aren't with Miles and the roads aren't in your favor. So your maximum time will be three hours, thirty minutes ' Beverley says.

' Two hours ' Helena argues

' Let's place a bet.' Beverley says.

' 5 ' Helena says. ' Deal' Beverley replies.

At the backseat, Bianca and Adam were speechless. What sort of friend did Helena have? She still made jokes despite knowing that Helena was shot. ' By the way Helena, how many bullets were you shot??' Beverley asks.

' Three' Helena replies. ' Not bad' Beverley comments.

' One more thing Bev. Don't mention anything about this to Jimmy. Don't tell Orion too. he will just sell me to Jimmy. I don't want Jimmy to overthink this ' Helena says. ' I gotcha ' Beverley replies.

An hour and fifty minutes later,

" Miss Beverley Khurana you owe me five we are outside the hospital. I will call you later ' Helena says.

' You devil in disguise what sort of witchcraft is this?!' Beverley says and hangs up.

Adam, Bianca and Helena takes Aiden into the hospital. Bianca felt grateful. Helena really came to their rescue
