ALONE WITH THE ASTROVANA SIBLINGS

Helena brought out her guitar and kept it by the study table in the room. She remembered she wanted to check out the pool and garden.

She headed out and traced her way back to the garden. She sighted a swing and sat on it. She looked at the variety of flowers in the garden. The lovely sight made her miss her friends.

"Madam seems to love flowers." Helena turns and sees a maid next to her. She smiles and says " Yes I do. By the way, my name is Helena. I feel uncomfortable when you call me madam. What is your name??" "My name is Kelly" "it's nice to meet you" Helena replies. Kelly excused herself and left. Helena went inside and saw her mom about to leave. "mom!! you are leaving already??" Helena asks. " yes dear! I need to be in Vegas tomorrow so I can join the rest at the airport. Be a good girl and take care of yourself." her mom says. " Bye mom. take care of yourself too"Helena says. She hugs her mom and her mom enters a cab and leaves.

"Helena dear. it's time to eat,the food is getting cold." Mrs Astrovana says. Helena follows añd sits on the table. The aroma of the food was tantalising. Soon the whole family sits down and begin to eat. Helena eats the food hurriedly, taking any food close to her. She eats the food in a very crass manner. The Astrovana siblings pause and look at her in disgust. Aiden drops his fork and stands up. " Excuse me" he says. "Hey Aiden!! Are you really going to waste such delicious food" Helena says. "Miss Homerna. I prefer to be called Mr Astrovana by outsiders. And it is really unladylike to eat in such a crude manner"Aiden says and leaves. Helena shrugs her shoulder "More food for me" She grabs his plate and gulps down his food. Adam and Bianca exchange glances. They stand up and leave. Soon Helena is left alone at the table.

She couldn't help the fact that she was a big foodie. A little while later,all the food on the table is gone and Helena sits with her hand on her belly. The maids come in and starts taking away the dishes. Helena joins them despite their protests. When she enters the kitchen she is awed, there were some facilities she had never seen before and like the other part of the house,it was all white. She sees a huge window that overlooks the pool. The maids pleaded with her to exit the kitchen as they all wanted to keep their jobs. She reluctantly leaves and goes to her room. She goes to the closet and gets a beautiful blue curtain and hangs it on the door. She picks up her pen and starts writing. After a while,she grabs her guitar and plays while singing in a clear, melodious voice. "City of Gods please help me

She keeps the guitar and says to her self " Still needs work." She keeps the guitar and her book and removes the curtain and keeps it. She hears Mrs Astrovana calling out to her. She hurriedly comes down stairs. "Yes Aunty" Helena replies. Aiden, Adam and Bianca are seated opposite their parents. "Sit down Helena" Mrs Astrovana says. Helena sits. " Your father and I are going on a business trip tomorrow. We'll be back in three weeks. Take care of yourselves and Helena. If there is anything call us"Mrs Astrovana says. Helena felt like crying. The only normal person in this family was Mrs Astrovana. And now she was going away, leaving her with this snobbish siblings.
