Chapter Ten: Day 3 with the Pertels.

I didn't have enough sleep. I waited for everyone to wake up so I could clean the entire house. I watched as Nissa and Brixan headed for their car, for their driver to take them to school. I looked at my wrist watch and I knew I would be late. I did my chores quickly and headed for school. On my way, my bicycle's chain wheel got bad again. I sighed in abject frustration. I started walking when a car alighted beside me. I continued walking and the car kept on following me. " Excuse me" a soft masculine voice called. I turned to look at the owner of the voice. He was handsome but not as handsome as Brixan.

" I see you are stranded. I could help you. I mean, I'm heading for Rep Me Up High and it seems like you are. Please accept this kind offer" he said. I had no choice. I didn't attend the rest classes for the day. It would seem like I miss classes. To compound it, I'm late to school. His driver assisted me with my bicycle, placing it in the booth. His driver opened the door for me. " Thank you" I said

He watched me for a while. I straightened my hair with my palms and he smiled. I looked at him.

" Did I do something funny?" I asked and he smiled.

" No. I can't help it" he said

" Help what?"

" To admire you. You're pretty" he said

" Oh!" I said, not knowing what to say.

The driver drove smoothly and the soft music from the car stereo, soothed my pains.

" How is Rep Me Up?" he asked

" You must be new" I said " Well , from the look of things, you won't have any problems. You're clearly rich. They won't disturb you"

" The name's Jason" he said

" Hildagard" I said

His driver alighted at the school entrance. With his help, I got my bicycle out.

" Thank you" I told Jason " Well to pay you, let me show you around since you're new"

I held his wrist as we ran in.

" I'm late so let's make it snappy" I said and started few descriptions, introductions, and some briefing.

" I have to go. Thank you" I said

Two girls walked in and as soon as they sighted us, they were screaming. What did I do wrong this time? I chose to ignore them and ran for class. I turned to look at him, and he stood laughing.

" Hildagard" my teacher said

" Good morning,ma" I said

" is missing classes a habit? " she asked" Meet me at my office, after your classes, during your break "

" Yes, Mrs. Nisn " and I headed for my seat.

I left for Mrs. Nisn office,ready to get scolded.

" Have a seat" she offered and I obeyed.

" Hildagard " she called" Rep Me Up High is a prestigious school with strict rules. One, no missing of classes. Your classes are very important. Two, we don't tolerate lateness. Check the hand book policy."

" I'm sorry " I apologized

" Why did you arrive late to school, today?"

" I work. My boss doesn't care if I go to school late, as long as I do all my work. She compounds it by being reluctant to wake up and stuffs like that"

" Let me have her number. I could talk to her " she said

" No" I said, immediately" Please, I can't. I...I promise I'll try to arrive at school early."

She watched me for a while and nodded.

" Well, I'll watch for that " I said

" Thank you, Mrs. Nisn" I said and left her office.

I headed for my class. I sat down, as I sighed. I was about to wear my earphones when I heard girls screaming.

" He's here" two ran in , screaming like never before. I was interested

" How do I look?" she acted and I smiled. She wanted to impress him. The girls in class were all preparing, making sure their hair is perfect, lips as seductive as ever and stuffs like that.

He walked in, looking as handsome as ever. His figure was amazing. I could tell just from his legs to his chest, he's hot.

" Jason" the girls screamed

Just like a reflex action, hearing that name, I looked up. My breath pace increased instantly. He smiled at me. I watched as the girls hugged him. He winked at me and bit his lip. My gosh.
